Fans flooded College Station by the thousands to catch George Strait’s only show in Texas this year and the crowd ended up breaking not only the stadium record, but the also the U.S. concert attendance record. 🏆 A total of 110,905 people roared for Strait and the Ace in the Hole Band as he sang everything from “Stars on the Water” to “Amarillo by Morning.” 🎤
This song just hits me differently now as a teenager my dad would tell me this song was how he felt about my sister, brother and me. June 17th marked 18 years without him which always is right around father's day here in the United States. In fact the year he passed away the 17th was the day before father's day
LOVE GEORGE STRAIT - he just had the largest concert crowd in country music history!! You can see why!! This is pure country!!! (In fact he has a move called Pure Country - that if you ever get a chance be sure and watch it!!)
When my uncle died in 2002 his three sons sing this song at his funeral, wearing the blue jeans shirts with his DJ logo on the back , he started his Deejay service with his oldest son , then after time it was just my uncle and his younger sons , he played everything from country, southern rock, oldies , classic country.
I was at the Astrodome show in 2003 and it was absolutely incredible, it was the very last show of the Astrodome as they were opening a new stadium. My channel has the most George Strait concert videos on RU-vid and you need to watch “Seashores of old Mexico” next! I’ve been to over 115. George Strait concerts in my life and they get better every time, even better news. He has a new album coming out within the next few months.
My favorites from King George are So Much Like My Dad; I Cross My Heart; You Look So Good In Love; Love Without End, Amen; Carrying Your Love With Me; The Cowboy Rides Away; What’s Going On In Your World; Today My World Slipped Away; When Did You Stop Loving Me; I’d Like To Have That One Back; The Best Day; and I Know She Still Loves Me.
George Strait was the first country concert I had ever attended. I saw him at the Houston Astrodome, and even though he stands there with his guitar and sings, it is amazing! His voice is as good live as it is recorded. Thanks for the reaction!
There's another one called Desperately. Kind of an under rated really good hit that peaked at #6 on The Billboard Charts. He's got so many. Heartland, when did you stop loving me, he's got two completely different songs with the same title that were released four years apart. Both songs are called She'll Leave You With A Smile and both songs are fantastic.
Love Without End, Amen is the first sing i remember hearing from George Strait ❤ Another great song that has a similar message is Long Line Of Love by Michael Martin Murphy ❤ ♥
