Great to see George is back in service. Can’t beat driving old classics around. Had my 51 minor out over the weekend and it’s wonderful how many people love these old cars . Job well done mate.
Had a minor 5 years ago thinking of getting one again, would you say the 948 has a lot less performance compared to the 1098 ( that’s what o had) but seen a nice 948 for sale.

I would just say that when I had my Traveler in 1984 I remember that my Grandad searched for a replacement 1100 when he was getting it on the road for me, and that I would not have wanted less power..... But these days I enjoy the extra planning and adventure I get from trying not to block traffic in my 1989 VW LT camper with it's mighty 2.4 6cyl NON turbo diesel with a whopping 64hp. When I want to go easy I take my 98 A6 2.8 V6 auto Quattro Avant. Best of both worlds....
@@iansteward4176 Hi I have owned a few over the years the 950 is fun and smooth engine and was happy with the 950 in George. Definitely noticed the difference with the 1098 he has now but I would not be put off buying another 950 in future. Good luck with your Moggy 🤓👍
