On December 2, 2010, George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States, visited Grand Rapids to talk about his memoir "Decision Points". Bush spoke about the moments that changed our country and his choices that shaped the Oval Office.
Susan Ford Bales introduced the former President to an overflow crowd at the Gerald R. Ford Museum, which included several members of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Board of Trustees and members of the Friends of Ford. Al Pheley, Administrator of the Gerald R. Ford School at Albion College, served as moderator.
Decision Points includes Bush's insights into choices that shaped our country including, the 2000 Election conclusion, 9/11, the War on Terror, Hurricane Katrina, and the financial crisis.
