+nymetswinws He does repeat himself too many times. It reminds me of when actors don't get a scene right and they repeat their lines (like when you see a blooper reel). I think it's possible that he was instructed to keep going like that because they would edit the footage. That makes the most sense to me.

When Carter was elected he had the desk returned and the top was turned. Reagan kept it, but George HW Bush had it put in the treaty room and used his personal desk in the Oval. I've often quoted that quote from President Bush that "I live on the east side of the mountain, it is the sunrise side not the sunset side, it is the side to see the day that is coming not the day that is gone." Why you ask? In this day and age when technology often dictates our lives some lessons for our years and what we've each learned as individuals must always stay with us and that quote reminds me that while it is a vital life lesson to learn from your past it is also a vital life lesson to not let your past define you, as a country we must focus on the future, and I've seen that in every President since President Bush including President Trump, focus on tomorrow not on yesterday!

To be honest, I'm not even going to get into a political debate and pick sides (you be the judge) but the difference between Obama and Bush are HUGE. Imagine if they were in a debate. Gee golly, I wonder who would win.
