From 1918 through the 1930s, George White's "Scandals" were some of the top revues on Broadway. But before he became a producer, White (born Isadore Weitz) was a tap dancer, and in the film "George White's 1935 Scandals," he broke out a soft shoe.

I was trying to find a recording of "It's An Old Southern Custom" after finding a nice sheet music copy featuring a very young Alice Faye and James Dunn on the cover.
