youtube recently changed it so you don't even have control over how many ads there are on a video, also dream / dream team always encouraged us to edit their streams also dream knows i post edits of dream team streams and is okay with it, so it's not against their boundaries 🫶, thanks for being concerned though (Edit: also if any of them ever came out and asked us to stop editing their videos, I would obviously respect that)

@@dailydreamteamclips yeah youre not uploading their full vods but youre still uploading cut down clips of their vods with nothing transformative other than just cuttinf out boring/mundane bits. maybe legally it could count as transformative or an edit but morally does it really? and obv theyre not gonna copyright strike you or anything and i doubt would care enough to take legal action but still, youre profiting off of clips of other peoples content mostly lol (not talking bout your edits but talking about this) quote from dream about copyrighted content - 'People uploading like, our content on RU-vid and other platforms, and, um, we’ve all kinda talked about this and our stance is essentially - we don’t really care. If you upload compilations or reactions or anything like that of our content. If you have- even if you upload almost our entire content, as long as you’re reacting to it or adding something to the content that’s within Fair Use, that way you can use it. And we are not copyright claim anybody that’s done that, and I have actually never - and I think it’s the same for George and Sapnap - have never copyright claimed anybody on RU-vid, ever. So if you’re uploading full videos of our VODs, then.. I don’t want you to do that please. Um, and neither do George or Sapnap. Hopefully - I don’t think I’m gonna start a channel to upload - I don’t think the - I don’t think that the Twitch VOD, um, like, being uploaded directly to RU-vid is - is good. I don’t really like that I guess. Neither do they. So please don’t do that. Um - unless you’re adding something to it or editing it. If you wanna edit Twitch stuff, make your own, like, highlights - perfectly fine. Hundred percent. That’s fine. Um, but, as for just uploading them with no added content - we don’t want that.' dont want this to seem malicious or like an argument but just critique and a heads up that imo is important to keep in mind if youre going to capitalise from content thats not really yours mostly (not talking about actual edits but this type of video). yeah george isnt going to starve if he doesnt get his paycheck from this stream and if people watch some channel on youtube reupload his content but still a twinge immoral nevertheless considering their boundaries

Also as I said, Dream knows I upload these and he's okay with it, actually he's happy that I'm able to make some money from it, like he's directly told me. And if he's okay with it, that's all the matters. You can't make up boundaries for them

@@dailydreamteamclips i wasnt trying to make up boundaries for everyone, i was just making sure this content doesnt go against it. if dream has outright told u hes chill w it, then thats great, wasnt trying to make anything up because i do enjoy highlights but was wondering if this is smth dteam would approve of and if its content id feel morally ok supporting lol. once again if you have complete support from dream then absolutely keep doimg it lol
