"Continue even when one professional door closes
but another has not yet opened.
Continue even when you are forced to wait a while longer
for the promotion you deserve.
Continue even when you see no one who looks like you
in the leadership roles to which you aspire.
Continue even when the world feels dark
and despair feels ever present.
Continue even when justice feels elusive.
Until we meet again,
graduates of the class of 2022.
Please continue all good things.
