I disagree with the take on Clemson and the portal. If the portal was the problem then there defense would be bad as well. There Defensive BPI last season was 11th. The problem at Clemson is poor development and coaching on the offensive side of the ball period. Also it’s not like we didn’t offer kids, we had 5 offers go out this year. One to a OT and the others were to WRS. I just hate when people make this argument because they don’t look at facts. After all of there position coaches and coordinators left in 21 Dabo hired his friends and not people qualified for the job. Now that they have gotten rid of most of those guys he hired, these new coaches are having to basically re develop the offensive player! You will start to see improvement form players this year especially on the offensive side of the bal. Not saying Clemson will beat Georgia but it will be much closer than people think.

The Clemson offense will be more mature, I expect improvement from the wr room. However, I wouldn’t expect much explosive production from freshman receivers. Especially considering the oline likely won’t offer enough time for explosive opportunities. The defense is still elite. I’d expect Clemson (leaning on the defense) to keep it closer than expected, morale will likely drop and fatigue will likely set in both a result of Clemson’s offensive struggles. Listen i think the Georgia is the best team in the country but they aren't a super power like head and shoulders above everyone else and there's at least a few teams out there that can beat them Texas Alabama Ohio State and there's another group that can sneak up on them Tennessee Ole Miss even Florida.
