Sofia Nizharadze will be singing Georgia's Eurovision entry 2010, called "Shine".
Previously Georgia's best position has only been 11th place. Sofia is definitely hoping to be the first act to win Eurovision for Georgia.
The song has been written and composed by Hanne Sorvaag, Harry Sommerdahl & Christian Leuzzi.
Sorvaag is no stranger to Eurovision and this is his third song entry. He co-wrote the German submission in 2008 and the Norwegian entry in 2010.

she maybe looks like Cheryl Cole, but let´s be honest here, she SINGS much much MUCH better. I like this song:)) And she is of course beautiful (as is Cheryl:) Hope she wins.... Also great songs: Armenia and Israel!

Simply amazing. The chorus sounds like a combination of Pink Floyd's Shine on you crazy diamond chorus and The great gig in the sky. I wish this song would win.

the song is a real high class mastepiece, but it was not catchy. i for one can not sing along and the high notes make it difficult to follow. overall, a very good song, but the people voted for what they could easily sing to and RELATE to, i think it's way too cheesy becase of the whole SHINE (like the STARS?) thing. the performance on stage was way too artistic. after all the the pirouettes and elaborate dance moves were over i felt like i still couldn't understand the meaning of it all.

you know something... first of all all the songs on eurovision are of pop jenre,but sure we must find more normal and beautiful song among them,which has value and is deep somehow...touching soul...i can't understand how could Lena's song be better than this,how muc popilation on the earth choose it??? it was just a teenager song in Avril Lavigne style nothing more..absolutely... i assured already how many times that unfortunately this is just political show

It is unfortunate that a few posts on here from Turkey seem to suggest that like the song because the singers mother is Turkish! Please judge songson merit, not nationality. Bias towards songs based on natinality brings the contest into disrepute, grow up people, enjoy good songs and try to forget your prejudices

Eurovision 2010: My Third place as for today is Georgia. Just AMAZING!!! SHINE!! One of the best performers this year and the song has always nice to leave: "You are by your own but you never alone!"
