I don't feel great about this game. Will Buster allow Pyron to throw the ball against this D? Can we avoid beating ourselves? Will the arm tackling get better? Seems like the tackling has taken a step back. Also the D backs have just been criminally out of position. Of course I hope we beat them and hell yeah we can. But we can also beat ourselves. Tech will have to play lights out to be in this game. ND is talented everywhere, regardless of their injuries. We can't have a slow start. Got to run the ball and the O-line play has to be great. Go Jackets!

Thanks for the GT insight in this video! I wanted to give some additional context into the statistics for Notre Dame. An area for optimism for Georgia Tech would be the impact of defensive injuries the Irish have seen in recent weeks. This is the first game without preseason all American Benjamin Morrison at corner. His replacement is a true freshman making his first career start. Could it be a soft spot in an otherwise very good secondary? Futher injuries are all over the defensive line. Starting defensive end Botelho is out for the season. His replacement, Traore led the Nation in sacks for a freshman this season... before he too was injured. The depth of the interior defensive line has also been reduced. A consistent rushing attack could control the clock and allow GT to keep the game close in the 4th quarter. Anything could happen at that point. An area for concern for the yellow jackets would be Notre Dame's passing attack hitting it's stride. Riley Leonard missed spring ball while recovering from a clean up surgery that was ironically caused by Notre Dame last season while Leonard was at Duke. This delayed his immersion into the offense on his new team. A shoulder injury in the first half of the NIU game further set back Leonard this season. However, there has been a clear progression in the passing game. Every game, Leonard is becoming more and more effective throwing the ball. Last week Riley Leonard went 16/22 for 230 yards and 3 TDs. He added another 30 yards and a TD on the ground. I think the statistics to NDs passing game are misleading for what to expect on Saturday. Overall, I expect the Yellowjackets to control the clock with an effective rushing attack to keep the game within a possession through the first half. I believe that in the second half Notre Dame's increasingly efficient offense is able to creating a 2 score lead. This will force Tech to open up the offense through the air which plays into the hands of the Irish strength. An interception in the 4th quarter seals the deal and the Irish defeat the Yellowjackets 31 - 16

I dont think we will win. It is a great game to have Haynes rest and give Pyron some field time that he deserves! I HOPE to see some improvement on the defensive side of the ball, especially in the middle. They can definitely kill us in the short pass game, just like Syracuse.

Gotta heavily disagree. ND has probably a top 5 safety in the country and a top 15 pass defense overall, Faulkner and Key arent letting Pyron pass more than 10 yards

Loved your analysis. I'd just say, Riley Leonard has been pretty good over the last three games: 70% Completion Pct. 182 Passing YPG 6 TD 0 INT 75.3 Rushing YPG 7.3 Yards per Rush 4 TD

I'm a big believer in Pyron. If they play much less sloppy Pyron gives more than chance for an upset

I think my Irish win. I do think Georgia Tech is going to be a respectable 8-9 win team this year though.

RL missed all pre spring ball it was said he would take about 5-6 games to get rolling on offenses and this is true as shown i got ND by 35 AL golden defense gonna have a new qb all confused
