I really enjoyed this video. Thank you! I can't believe they sold you that wet and rotten wood and you had to spend all that time drying it out. I'm getting a new DR650 this weekend and am looking forward to motocamping.
That's exciting! Thank you. Yes...we haven't had a very good experience with provincial parks and the firewood in general. Hard to beat hardwood dried like at home.
It was a great trip even if we're not big fans of camp grounds. At $50 a night it's not exactly cheap but it was nice to experience it once. Hope you and your family are doing well, enjoy the weekend!
Great vid guys I enjoyed watching you tiptoe over those rocks and man if someone sold me wood like that I would have taken it back … merry Christmas guys stay safe
Thanks for watching, the swimming was refreshing and treacherous at the same time. It's the same at all provincial parks and people don't seem to do anything about it... $15 of wet wood doesn't make much sense. Anyways hopefully you have an amazing weekend and Merry Christmas as well.
Graigleith campground... used to be cabins there for 28 bucks a night in like 1980...I used to wade out in the rocks and catch rainbows!...it was pretty desolate back then.
That would have been more to our liking. The quieter the better for us. Miss the good ole times. Thanks for letting us know and hope you have a great weekend!
20 more minutes west and you guys would have been in my neck of the woods . Yep the waves can get very loud and all through the night . Beautiful area for sure !
Oh really? Nice 😎 The noise was relentless...we were impressed with our tent though, held up well with that wind. Gorgeous colors at sunset/sunrise and the color of the water looked amazing the whole ride through that area. *T4W*
I love seeing people ride trails and roads i know. Wish my wife would ride a DR with me but she is bent on a Rebel 300. My seat height scares her and shes way too inexperienced for my 1300... technically so am I lol
It's a gorgeous area! The DR650 used to be intimidating (as a new rider coming from a DR200 - also a great bike!). It's crazy what a difference just stock adjustments and a lower seat can make to how a bike feels. What type of bike is your 1300? Ride safe out there *T4W*
