G is being very humble about the pelvis injury. The team had lift him on and off the bike for many days in a row. He raced 20 days with a broken pelvis. Buckets of grit that one.

Yeah, if you're crashing that often and that badly maybe you're doing it wrong. :) I do love old Geraint. Great cyclist. And a handsome fellow to boot. Always quick to give credit to his team and other riders in the peloton as well. And has been known to do a nice lead out for a friend on another squad when he was in the right place at the right time.

Most pro cyclists carry a legacy of past injuries as it's one of the toughest sports out there though G and Primoz Roglic probably take the prize for devotion to their work.

Eter Puralis Yeah, it kinda detracts from the story of his perseverance despite incredible pain for the good of his team and switches attention to women’s suffering. (I’m a cishet woman btw)
