Derrick would have ended up ODing anyways. 3. Packie would have explained the situation to him about Kate. And even then, Kate was avenged. But then again who knows. Great story making stuff though.

If Niko killed Derrick, he would've definitely been angry and tried to get revenge on him. However, if he killed Francis, he would definitely support Niko's decision especially knowing that Francis was the one that wanted Derrick killed. Kate's death can't really be blamed on Niko since it wasn't intentional, shit happens and she willingly wanted to go to the wedding (It was even Kate that wanted Niko to choose the Revenge ending).

Then Gerald calls out his stupidity for it. This arguement led to Michael's death

4 years late but he only went to prison because Derrick most likely ratted him out after getting strung out in that park across the street from the Alderney police station.

I understand that GTA, in a sense is supposed to be a parody of the modern world, but you are right. But not only in the base game. Tales of Liberty City and The Ballad of Gay Tony also helps flesh out these characters. While in GTA V. The story was about Micheal more than anyone. Franklin is just kinda there and then Trevor, while important, is only there for 2/3 at best

@@setro5582 You can only use Francis’s ability to reduce your wanted level if you’ve yet to complete the main story. So you lose it after the final missions, you can’t really do much with the money. Sure, Derrick’s an unproductive junkie and possibly a rat, BUT someone like Francis staying in power as a totally corrupt cop is FAR worse with bad implications. So I say cap him and use Kiki to lower wanted levels 🤣👍🏻
