Doctor Doom yeah he is a shill but you do have to talk to the other side. Maher isn't always right either you know. Sure the right tends to be wrong more often but one needs dialogue to avoid marginalizing people and make the divide even worse. I like Maher's approach. He knows how politics is like a game and he knows how it works.

I have seen plenty of criticism on there of both parties, I will say they are harsher on the right but it is not hate filled it can be somewhat condescending but not hate filled. I rarely watch other than running on a treadmill with no choice of what they put on because it is just like internet now and their algorithms-all about clickbait because that is what sells which is more about us as an audience.

What was that controversy at the time? Something about Geraldo claiming he was at a friendly fire incident...which turned out to be 300 miles away at the time he claimed to be there. Then he claimed to have misspoke, said he meant to say it was a different incident...which happened to occur 3 days after he made his comments? J. Ascension Yep, he can't disconnect how Trump has treated him over the years versus how Trump treats other people. It's why Bill's comparison with OJ was on point. Many people have said great things about how OJ personally treated them. I know Howard Stern spoke numerous times about how nice OJ was to him. But that's irrelevant when you know he has a history of beating women and eventually murdered to people. OJ wasn't the first person to present a very friendly public persona while being an absolute piece of shit privately. But the amazing thing about Trump is that he doesn't even hide that he's a piece of shit and Geraldo refuses to see that. Just look at how Trump speaks about women that criticize him. Or the infamous "grab'em by the pussy" comment. Look at how he called black NFL players a son of a bitch because they took a knee to protest police brutality, but referred to people marching around at night chanting "Jews will not replace us" as "very fine people".

I'd say it's a combination of their decades long friendship and him being a regular guest on a show that's Trump is known to watch (Fox and Friends). I'd imagine they'd kick his ass off that show without hesitation if he really started badmouthing Trump. None of the news networks have ever had such a tight "bond" with a president as Fox News has with Trump, and you can bet they'll do anything to keep that.

Pretty fascinating interview. I can't say I've always agreed with either of these guys, as I am conservative on many issues. Definitely not pro-Trump, so hold your fire. I respect both of these two for being deeply passionate in their beliefs. Actually met Bill Maher many years ago and he was extremely nice and hilarious in the few minutes he was cool enough to talk to me.

But there was no evidence that Trump threaten Stormy Daniels, choosing to believing that one did, based on how you feel about that person, would not holdup in a court of law. Where as in OJ's case there was all kinds of evidence that proved his guilt, there was no need for feelings or ones beliefs to influence the case, the evidence spoke for itself. Bill Maher can believe whatever he wants to believe, but is it right for him to tell his audience that he believes that Trump hired someone to threaten Stormy, without any evidence? Didn't MSNBC, CNN as well as others, believe Jussie Smollett story of Trump supporters attacking him, and the media blamed it all on Trump , without there being actual evidence to backup the claims. Is this the world you want to live in where accusations or one's beliefs are enough to prove someone's guilt, without evidence?

@Herman Greenfield Do you know how to spell "first off" and say "even if you're too stupid"? Cause firest is not a word and your is not the same as you're (which means you are). It was proven that Smollet was lying and he got away with it! Even when Stormy Daniels was interviewed there was no real evidence to substantiate what she said was true (which Geraldo pointed out in the interview). So when you say "it does fit his profile" that doesn't mean shit! BTW, I think you wanted to say until, not "untill".
