Something that I always wonder about is why so many people see Piqué as a "bad" centerback or that he is not on the level of for example Ramos, Boateng, Godin, Chiellini etc. I don't know if it's because he speaks his mind quite often on Twitter, if it's because he scored an own goal vs Bayern 4 years ago, or if it's because he's a pretty lanky and slow player that makes people have this view of him. Because performance and ability wise he's so solid and among the very best in his position, he's even got 0 defensive errors this season yet people claim he can't defend. It is just something that bugs me and shows that many people don't watch our games that often, though I don't think Piqué cares the slightest, with that trophy cabinet and that woman...

Wander Fone, Bud, if you see, the guy's talking about Pique not being considered as one of the best and being overshadowed by Ramos who no doubt is world class but he's recognized as being the better defender even tho he's amazing offensively but his defending capabilities are atrocious. The comment had nothing to do with the players you mentioned. They're all world class and among the very best in the world.

anyone else think that in proportion to the rest of the team, the defenders and goalies are the best players on the team? the attackers can make mistake after mistake but still win but usually when the defender or gk makes a mistake, it ends up in a goal. not trying to disrespect the attackers but that's just my point of view

Que bueno era Pique, lastimosamente la gente se dejó llevar por los malos comentarios y creyeron todos que no tenía calidad para estar en el Barça pero era una locura. No fue titular por una década completa en el Barça de puro gusto. Muy feliz de haber visto un defensa central ganar 38 títulos oficiales.
