It's ok but the flip lever sticks out too far and stabs me in the stomach if I carry in my waist. This makes it better for pocket carry. Also, I would have liked for the pocket clip to be on the other side. Where it is currently located my thumb is not in position to quickly open the blade. I have to flip the whole knife around to get in position. The blade is nice and I like how it feels, but because of the two items I called out, I give it a 3 out of 5.
I'm with you on the pocket clip. I will even try to take it off as I see this as a formal carry blade. Because of that viewpoint I don't worry about opening it quickly although I must say it has worn in well and I can even flick it out once I get the blade out a tad. But yeah, it is working out well for me and I'm liking it.
Sadly I don't think there will be one. I would immediately buy that version. I love their design but I won't but anymore of their 7cr17mov knives. It's not a bad steel but it's not good enough for me.
