That’s absolutely hysterical because I recently purchased one from the App Temu I haven’t received it yet but I’m be willing to bet it’s probably a counterfeit I paid $24.00 I would have never ever guessed that there counterfeit of such brands like Gerber I can see like the higher end manufacturers like Microtech but it stinks because I’ve already purchased the Cold Steel Kobun i believe it’s called I’m guessing that it’s a counterfeit also. Im retired and disabled and don’t have the budget to buy more expensive things so I was assuming that maybe I was purchasing like the name brands but maybe like lesser quality merchandise like slightly irregular or maybe slightly damaged for less money. @@dskennels210 I did get a refund and I will also be sending Gerber a message. I will be buying my knifes from the Knife center and not Amazon in the future.
Most of Amazon is fake. Often Ebay has real ones at least 50% of the time look at the detail and packaging. The Strongarms in the one-container transparent box have been the real ones. The boxed knives that are in non-transparent packaging are a guessing game.
My fake one fron Amazon says made in Portland USA on the knife. Small print on back of box says made in Portlamd 😅 It's on it's way back and that's the last thing I purchase from Amazon. This sucks. I despise returning stuff. The sheath broke during first use. 😮 Junk
