Gergo Borlai captured the pure essence of this song with style, flair, precision like no one else could next to Billy cobham. He just sounds so good on those Grestch drums.

This musicality is absolutely unparalleled

watched this ca the 134th time...... still don't know ANY better performance of a drummer ever !! ......in relation to sound, rhythmic, dynamics, the STYLE of drumming and the spirit of time.........

I think Gergo is an alien, Nobody on this planet can play like this, Outstanding performance!

This is honestly the best drumming I've ever seen. And yes, that includes from Vinnie, Lang, Minneman, Virgil, Coleman, Palmer, etc. This is truly unbelievable. I was watching with my jaw on the floor, holding my breath.

Gergő itt feltette az "i"-re a pontot sok évtizedes és kitartó munkájával. Amit valaki elérhet dobon, mint hangszeren, ebben a pár percben benne van. Ezt az előadást, mindenféle túlzás nélkül, ötvenszer néztem végig és mindahányszor végem lett. Azt kellene mondanom, hogy embertelen, de épp az ellenkezője: nagyon is EMBERI! Ezt a mutatványt talán csak a Zildjian Live-os repertoár múlja felül - persze, ez mind csak egyéni vélemény, a lényegen nem változtat.🙏

Found out about Gergo only about a week ago. I think Im in love 🥰🥰🥰 everything that he does is magical. Ive probably watched this vid a thousand times in the past two days. Insane performance.

Gergo. Just the most sublime chops on earth, on top of a seemingly endless fount of rhythmic ideas. I'm really glad that we have soooo much high definition video of this absolute Master, for the 14 year old drummers of the future to be astounded by, in 2060.

This guy (and a few others like Virgil) have something in common: regardless of where they are in their careers, they are always improving. Year after year, no matter how old they are, or how successful they have already been, they just keep growing. It's crazy.

Hello Gergo... I've been a fusion drummer since the 80s and was a disciple of the great Dave Weckl after the first Electrik Band LP emerged, I would say you're incredible talent ad creativity on the kit has me excited again. The Stepanov stuff you played on is just next level.. Thank you for that.

J'étais déjà admiratif de ce batteur en regardant ses premières vidéos pour Meinl il y a 12 ans. Il est époustouflant!!! Touché, nuances, musicalité, son, technique monstrueuse... prodigieux! Le groupe est de haut vol et Mbappe est le digne héritier de son père! Et un grand merci à la bag de diffuser ces images! (de la part d'un provincial qui n'avait pas les moyens de venir au show)

Discovered you and your playing over at Andrew Rooney's drum reaction channel. This video is his latest addition and I had to come here to say that this has me smiling the entire way through. That great Gretsch sound comes through, but thanks to your control and use of dynamics it elevates these drums to another level. Thank you for sharing your amazing abilities with us. Also, shout out to this wonderful band!

Notice the tom suspension rims are bottom mounted. It doesn’t change the sustain and if you’re a working/touring drummer it sure makes changing the batter heads easier 😉

That bass player is no slouch, either. Fretless is just awesome.

This is easily one of the best sounding kits as a whole that I've ever heard. Just the sound of every single piece on the kit compliments one another so beautifully. I literally bought that hi-hat the instant I watched this performance, and jeez it was worth every penny. I recently just broke it, and I am absolutely buying it again. Literal greatest hats on the market! They are the 15" Zildjian A Custom Mastersound hats for anyone wondering. I'm not really a huge Zildjian fan, and I really don't love the sound of most of their hi-hats (please don't kill me haha) but on god, those are out of this world!

So very very good.
