It wasn’t Eisenhower that made the agreement with Stalin, but rather Winston Churchill with the “Percentages Agreement” with Stalin during the Fourth Moscow Conference in October 1944…

Watching this video it’s pretty clear that Eisenhower was a good tactical commander but not a strategic one. As in chess you go for the king if that possibility is available and the King was in Berlin. It’s pretty obvious that the fall of Berlin led to the end of the war. A good movie about this is the German movie called Downfall. Churchill had it right.
