You're absolutely right, I mentioned in the video that the container is for the Gm17. I didn't specifically mention that the lenses are also for the Gm17 but that is indeed so.

Thanks for the comments, always interesting to discuss this stuff. According to the info I found there's indeed a later model with the spring harness but an earlier version too (that's why I named this one 'second model' in the video). The very first version didn't have a strap across the top of the head and the base plate for the filter and overal size of the mask was bigger. I could be wrong here, but if you want I can post a link to the website I found the information.

@@KG-Collection nope you're 100% thats the linienmaske 1915. Yours is a rahmenmaske. Yours is a first model rahmenmaske which has come after spring 1916 due to the green crosses you can see on the eye lenses. I have a super early rahmenmaske set from before spring 1916 which doesn't have these X's.

@@KG-Collection early mask that one is then! It's in lovely condition, worth getting a matching can. You would be looking for a can that has the instructions under the wire cage in the lid of the can. It will only give instructions on the linienmaske but that is the can they were issued with before the M16 can.
