German Invasion of America Diorama WW2 Timeportal scale

What sets you apart from other modellers is not just you're attention to small details, but the storytelling too.

For somebody in Germany, you sure nailed the look of our old farmhouses here in the US. There are a ton of them still around, in various states of repair/upkeep. VERY well done, Sir!

This actually happened, the reason we don't hear about it is because old Bill went and got his shotgun and put an end to the shenaningans, made the intruders appologize, they even finished painting his house. After that they had dinner and realized, they are just people on both sides. As they returned back through the portal, they swore to stop that angry little mustasch man and destroy the portal. The rest is history. It really is a nice dio, everything looks so crisp and detailed.

I was so hyped when I saw the thumbnail for this video. We finally get to see what's on the other side of the portal! You did NOT disappoint, excellent work.

You truly out did your self in this one, Thomas! Those poor children must've been so scared. I loved the dog barking at the German soldier. It's truly a masterpiece.

The second half of the diorama is fantastic. One one small mistake. During WW2, the United States had a 48-star flag. The 50-star flag didn't come into being until 1960.

Könnte glatt eine Film Scene aus der Serie, Man in the High Castle sein, wo sie auch solche Fantasievorstellungen haben. Wieder eine Tolle Geschichte erzählt und wirklich sehr schön geworden.

What sets a great model diorama apart is the amount of attention to the fine details. Your dioramas always look amazing because you put the time and effort in. You’re at the top of your game. I am a WWII and science fiction / fantasy enthusiast so this ticks all the right boxes for me. The only thing I would’ve liked to have seen is some of that mad scientist tech on the tank itself. Plasma cannons and such.

Wie ich darauf gewartet habe Ich liebe das Ergebnis was du mit beiden Dioramen erzielt hast, auch wenn ich bei der Maschine erst von einer Zeitmaschine ausgegangen bin, ist es trotzdem grandios. Ich hoffe das du bei Zeiten weitere so kreative Dioramen baust. Ein Diorama mit einer wirklichen Zeitmaschine wäre ja meines Erachtens nach was wirklich cooles! Danke für deine Tollen Videos

Your attention to detail is unreal

I respect your attention to detail; especially with regards to your construction of the house and its surrounding accessories. The 50 Star American Flag is the only clue I could spot that suggests this is happening (at the American end) sometime after 1959. In a rural civilian area, the circa.1942 Wehrmacht will cause a lot of damage with their Pz.Kpfw. IV's, without question. But they're going to have a serious problem when the US Army eventually responds with M47 and M48 Patton Tanks, and the USAF attacks from above with 3rd and 4th generation Jet Fighter-Bombers . . . . Though both well-detailed dioramas show a fascinating Science Fiction scenario, I would be interested to know more about the overall backstory. You are an excellent craftsman with a sharp eye for detail! Thanks for sharing this with us!

Wir waren alle erstaunt über Thomas‘ Talent beim Modellieren und Bauen von Dioramen. Seine Bäume sind herausragend. Man kann zum Modellieren keinen kommerziell hergestellten Baum kaufen, der besser und realistischer aussieht als das, was Thomas selbst baut. We have all been amazed at Thomas' talent for modelling and making dioramas. His trees are outstanding. You could not buy a commercially manufactured tree for modelling, that looks better and more realistic than what Thomas scratch builds.

Your skill at making creative models as well as your perfect Contruction of the buildings, down to joists and beams, and the little details like the partly painted house, and the film over the windows really take your dioramas to the next level. I rarely see small details like putting a plastic sheet over the windows like we actually do in dioramas like this

This must be one of the very few channels that gives as much importance to storytelling as attention to detail and realism. Achieving incredible and moving results in both aspects. Absolutely stunning work as always 😻♥️

Very nice work. Just a couple details for future reference. 1. Horseshoes are hung with the ends pointing up. 2. Porch railings usually go from the bottom rail to the top rail only. 3. The big tree is in summer colors, but you have pumpkins in the scene. They are a fall crop.

Really nice build with an imaginative concept. I loved the angry dog. You must turn the horseshoe the other way up as the luck runs out if the points are towards the ground.

I have seen some good dioramas, but this, BY FAR, is the most creative and most detailed that I have seen....EVER!!! WELL DONE!!!

This is a true masterpiece. I actually felt the terror of the American farmer, the children, and even the animals watching the soldiers come from out of nowhere into their yard. (shudders)

Your art is amazing, the detail of the paint renovation work on the house blew me away with the touch of realism it gives to the scene...and the human drama unfolding in this diorama is so vivid I can't help but think of the one currently unfolding in real life. A rather beautiful series. There's an anomaly you need to fix: The US Flag in 1942 only has 48 stars upon it (the 50 star flag would not fly until 4 July 1960)

I do find the concept of "Nazis using portals to invade the world" absolutely hilarious, but you definitely bring it to life! Infact, it would be pretty cool to escale and make a diorama about a Haunebu UFO or Die Clocke. You know, realizing all these Wunderwaffe.

It's the little things that sell it. And no one does it better than you. That and the precise and expert paint jobs you do. Like the spilt paint. Or the patches on the tin part of the roof. Paint drips on the wood and windows. And taking as much time to paint little pieces as you do with the large. Like the hammer for example. I bet even under 10x magnification the hammer still looks perfectly real. I love seeing you have a new video out. Because it's *always* awesome. Great editing as well. Thank you.

Thomas, as always, you amaze me. You inspire me to up my game in diorama creation. I wanted to make an observation that might help your efforts on future builds. Regarding the spot on the farm house where the siding is missing, houses of that style from the late 1800's to the early 1900's in America would have a layer of tar paper under the siding. Perhaps if you do the same effect on a similar house you could simulate that? I think it would help to hide the inner construction of the model and add an additional layer of detail and realism. Again, only a suggestion and in no way deters from your beautiful work. As always, thank you for inspiring.

In the first part, when I saw you cutting the tank in half, I wondered whether someone had made a diorama with a vehicle cut in half and placed on the edge of the diorama so the interior of the vehicle could be seen when looking at the diorama from the side. Some models have very detailed interiors, which the modeller builds and finishes but the viewer never sees in the final diorama.

Hatte eher den New York time squere im Sinn. Aber im Hinterland "einzufallen" ist taktisch sehr clever. Respekt für die Mühen, sieht super aus 🤟

Pretty great and detailed as always. A good follow up piece would be the immediate civilian response to this. The Nazis would have been faced with a throng of resistance armed to the teeth with an assortment of WWI and prohibition era equipment like Thompson machine guns. Probably driving in weaponized farm equipment and classic pickup trucks retrofitted with steel plate.
