Arnob and Sunidhi are real life couple (Husband,Wife). Arnob is from Bangladesh and Sunidhi is from India, though she lives in Bangladesh now.

There are so many layers to this. There is a lot you can read into. One can interpret it in many ways, personally how I interpret this whole video is this: Bangla or Bengal was united in language and culture before the partition*. For several historical reasons Bengal were later divided into West Bengal (a part of India) and the East (i.e. Bangladesh) separated by a border. Now think about the artists and their environment; on the right we have Sunidhi (the wife and an Indian woman from from Kolkata) and Arnob (the husband, a man from Bangladesh), two people divided by culture, border and maybe even religion (I'm not sure about that last part), he sits in his contemporary setting and she, in her classical environment. They're yearning for each other but they're separated. But because of their love and yearning, they overcame the barrier and finally met at the end. I think you can even see the yearning in Arnob's eyes to finally get to perform on this platform with his beloved too. Whilst it may or may not be intended, the lyrics not representing their unity at the end might also be representative of the fact that the two Bangla/Bengal will never truly be united despite the two lovers having become one. This is just my interpretation of course.

I was waiting for you to catch the complete essence which most people don't get. But you have got it as soon as you seen it. This arrangement is not only about the music but also the cinematography gets involved in completing the art. Apart from the love between 2 heart, let me present another perspective of this arrangement. Forget about the human part, think of it like the female and male singer represent the classical and modern music respectively. First few minutes the classical music was trying to adopt the modern instruments. As the modern music (male vocal) came through in its fullest form, the classical music stood up from its seat. Classical started vibing in the modernness. Came as close as they could to the modern and stood right beside the wall. Started learning to spread its wings (moving hands). Then, classical fully embraced the modern genera and finally came out of the confinement of it (the blue room). First time in the video, you can see classical to dance freely. Soon after, modern joins and they fulfill each other.

You figured almost everything out. But the composition is genius here, because along with meeting souls through the lyric, the composition has combined two genres that was never thought of fusing together. Also the video is amazing, because through the two boxes, they resembles two world which has nothing in common. Sunidhi's world is more ancient, traditional, so does her song, and arnob's world was minimalistic and modern, just like his song. Really a high quality production from coke studio bangla.
