The “raider” Atlantis was primarily used to bring supplies go a secret German base in Antarctica. It’s mission was so secret that it would heavily disguise itself and hoist the flag of some other neutral country before pulling into a third neutral port somewhere and load supplies. Then, after it loaded the supplies, the crew would change the disguise of the ship once again, and raise an entirely new flag.
