Nice, this was the song that got me back to others genres from rock/metal period :D. Unlike you, i still can't get into Odo tho' i really appreciate it, it's probably the most technical song Ado has ever done; i like Hanabie ver more, but i don't think they sang it better than Ado, it's just too much for one vocalist, song like that usually is sung with group but she did it alone with all voices. Others probably filled you info about her, her strong point is the care she put into every vocal lines, and uses many voices to paint lyrics, almost like play a role. I would recommend Rabuka, Bocca della verita, Jama, Yokubari with uniqueness her others original (not written by her btw, they're written by other vocaloid Producer) like Gira Gira is great too, she still tries many sounds right now (like Aishiteru..) doesn't want to be labeled as an angry singer :D, her song Rasen main theme for Lost Judgment game is (to me) one the most emotional (angry and tiresome) one. Technically Ado is an Utaite (even now), a person who sings/covers songs made by vocaloid Producer (vocaloidP), a software program that you can input vocal line like instrument. There's a long history of their characteristic now of fast sounding, dark tones, pitches changing high too, because the program can sing it and they cramped all words to lyrics and told a rather full story . But most of them have a day job or pro, and they want to use this program to make or experiment that would not usually be accepted by the mass or singers. So usually they had dark under tones, tire of society (some way just like metal but they mostly scream inside than outside). So most of them are rather unique and really hard to sing, Utaite is the ones who like this song so much and try to sing them (the term Utaite, the one who sings, not singer), they would develop their own technique and tried to play the character in that song. They cover and upload it to NicoNico Dunga or now RU-vid, and credit all the works for other like producer, art... the song that i always recommend from this kind of music is Hated by life itself by "Mafumafu". Some like "Villain" by Amatsuki. Now there's a wave of Vocaloid producer and Utaite back to mass consumer, they're still unique on their all but the crowd have gradually accepted them now, Ado is one of the lastest one. Yonezu Kenshi, he is unique by all mean :D (Paprika, Kanden, Flamigo..); Rock/folk duo Yorushika: their song is soft, bright with undertone dark lyrics (Haru dorobou, Hana ni bourei, That's why i gave up on music, Itte...); Yoasobi: they're probably the most famous right now in general (not just Vocaloid ground), their song is soft, poppy, mellow with undertone dark lyrics, i don't know if you can listen to but they have the most famous one that in Japan there's probably no one who didn't know it Yoru ni Kakeru xD Jmetal: Unlucky Morpheus (i'm still searching for people reaction to this band even now): all their live like Angreifer, Opfer (yes they borrowed German words xD), Satsuriku no Miseria, Kyomo no koibito (with Undead Corporation), Tower of the blood, CADAVER/REVADAC, Get revenge on the tyrant...
