As a Russian, this was painful to watch that your fellow citizens are so bad at geography 😢 Also, we are culturally Europeans as well, just look at our history - our rules had German dna => big German influence on our country; it was popular to look upon the French : our architecture (historical buildings) from 18-19th is European; if you were from nobles class and you weren’t speak French you wouldn’t be considered as a educational person
