I have been spoiling my Ziva since 5lbs ,,,,now at 120lbs,she is the nicest,sweetest,lovable Rotti out there,Tons of socializing,tons of repetition,and lots of time walking,playing on the floor,,,,,I ACTUALLY THOUGHT I spoiled THE Rotti OUT of her, even questioning if she would arise to the occasion of defending me,well that was put to rest twice on 2 night walks,,,holy crap,I EVEN got scared,,,,best dog ever,,,never underestimate a Rotti,ever

The thing about peoples saying Rottweiler are dangerous ?, that’s completely stupid, it’s like with any breeding kind of dog’s, of course a Rottweiler who snaps you or a Chi Wawa who snaps you ??? Theirs gonna be a different feeling between themes, but it’s like anything even with human, the ones who aren’t raised correctly are possibly gonna turned bad, but a Rottweiler who’s raised in a proper family with a kid(s), can be the best thing for especially thoses kid(s) they are very protective and will always tried to keep kid(s) away from danger, they’re extremely loyal and evidently be your best friend.

Why am I not surprised Germany still keeping Eugenics in one form or another alive in Dogs

American Rotts literally look like a Labrador Retriever with Rottweiler colors. German Rotts have a thick "bully" head and body like a "Johnson's American Bulldog" except German Rotts seem to be just a little more intelligent/trainable. Not "trashing" Johnson American Bulldogs though. I love that breed also.

Yesterday I saw an Italian Rottweiler. The day before that I saw a African Rottweiler. 3wks ago I saw a Bolivian Rottweiler. I have an Australian Rottweiler.

I forget what Breeder it was but this Cat was trying to blow smoke up my Ass by saying they were the same dog and while I live and have breed Rottweilers in Germany, I can tell you from experience. My Stud had Ives Euelenspiegel blood. First of all not everyone can breed their Pets. You have to join the ADRK which is a Certified Rottweiler Club for Deutschland. Dogs in this club and Affiliation of this ADRK are only allowed to breed, Officially. But like everything in life there are ways around it. But the Papers and the Bloodlines speak the truth. The dog must meet the Certification regarding Health issues, Conformation, and color. Americans tend to have that Pug face, where the German Rott has a more elegant, longer but square nose and a clean head without the fat Block waterheads of the Americans. They are taller and more muscular as well. Fact is You can have a Rottweiler born in American but that dog would probably never exist if it was bred in Germany because of the stricter regulations. So all You Cats with your Pug nosed American Rottweilers, get Your Ass on a plane or make a good Hookup with a Breeder over here and get that Original Blood. Then You can breed German Rottweilers in America. Until then, REGARDLESS of how big, muscular, or attractive your dog is, it doesn’t meet the Standard. Like a Dalmatian without spots or a Rhodesian ridgeback with no ridge. In Germany, it Ain’t happened. Es ist nicht in Ordnung.i

All Rottweilers born on American soil are considered American Rottweilers no matter size or structural appearance they have...this subject is hard to explaian..

The breed originates in europe, and the dog is named after a german town! Most top breeders around the world import european dogs, why is this so if american rotts are all that? If a dog/ breed originates in europe u would think thats were the best dogs and blood lines come from no?

total BS - unless you can look at the breeder, his/her history, where they got they start, the quality of Rotties they have "produced", their ethics, etc... you are likely to get a weak rottie in the US because of so many unscrupulous breeding operations preying upon the ignorance of the buyers. This can happen every where of course, but much more difficult to keep in the check in the US because it's a huge territory.

German rottweiler is every rottweiler.. American - just put American before rottweiler that's the difference
