My German shepherd just realized her baby puppies are missing. We moved all the baby German shepherd puppies into their new whelping box. German shepherd guard dog missed her baby puppies.

So sweet...Gabby gave up her padded mat for the puppies to stay warm on. Please get a larger pad for all of them. Gabby is still recovering from surgery and needs a soft cushion for resting/sleeping.
@@user-mf3tm6wb3p there is a word for you but Im going to be the better person here and not say anything else. I also will not reply to anything else you have to say. Have a nice day.
I don't care what the haters say,you folks are an awesome, caring, loving family doin things right! Pup-pups are lookin great and Miss Gabby is being an awesome mom!
I think it's amazing that you allow the girls to interact with the babies and Gabby knows it. I'm glad the whole family does. They are adorable, thank you for sharing everything about the homestead, the family, Gabby and her babies! ❤️😊
They are some fuzzy puppies in a house still warm temps out i bet they enjoy the cool!! See the fat pup in the end laying by his mom on the palstic? I think it likes it!
@Freddie Boom Boom Washington First I wasn't telling him what to do. I may have worded it wrong because I meant it to be a suggestion. Second I was speaking from a person who has bred and raised puppies. Puppies at that age are very susceptible to pneumonia know matter how warm it is. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying roast them just to make sure they are kept warm and comfortable. And third. No I am not a controlling wife.
@Freddie Boom Boom Washington You might notice that most of the commenters have said to leave the mat and/or to add a blanket or towels or something, in there to help keep the puppies warm and help with cleanup. Obviously, those who have had experience a raising baby animals have some basis for why they say it say to do that - it is for the puppies benefit. And, has nothing to do with the person's marriage state.
Each time you're able to cuddle a puppy make sure to gently play with their feet. This is so in the near future when it comes time for their first pedicures they won't freak out so much. And who doesn't love playing with puppy tootsies...haha😁
This guy is good dad and his wife I love when I see people love the dog like the family because the are family some people they hurt then the family got together to help I really enjoy this video thank you beautiful family 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😃😃😃😃😃
No, keep playing and loving the pups. I have had dogs all my life and I always played with the pups. The first dog that I can remember used have all her pups at night in her dog house and then she would push them into a little pile for me to get into the house and start playing with her babies. They were the best dogs that anyone could have. Loves and hugs from Alamogordo New Mexico USA. May God bless you and your family
That is quite the welping bed! She was a little concerned at first but she definitely settled down with her babies! Gabby is such a beautiful sweet momma! Thanks for sharing this with us and let other people understand how important this is for a mother and puppies! Great video!
Yeah ik im hearing more ppl abuse em n im waitin to catch it n they will never be able to do so again. Thats my promise. China just passed a law bout dog meat. I lost my head my cool n went off on em.....
Gabby is such a good mama. Puppies look so healthy. Great idea to put puppies in that pool. This will keep them together when they get bigger. Need an extra blanket to keep them warm. Thanks for sharing .
here's my thought: feral and wild dogs tend to whelp in dens and covered areas. Instinct may be dictating where she is most comfortable, the cage provided that sense of protection with surround and cover, one opening she could guard. our concept of what's comfortable and hers may differ greatly. She's a beautiful dog, and well trained. pups are awesome.
Yes I was thinking the exact same thing. I studied dogs and wolves for 9 years. Them doing this makes her not feel safe with her pups it’s like she’s out in the open for predators not saying that there is any
Yes, the crate should have been covered so she can go in and feel like she's in the den and not be in the open. if they wanted her to be in that pool, they should have had that pool way before she had the babies to get used to it. She's a German Shepherd and not fluffy designer dog.
Lovvvvvve the vedio. The pups are so adorable, and gabby is everyone's dream dog. Just like Lassy was on T.V. decades ago. She shows loyality to every member of your family and protects her pups and the farm animals also. Believe me, your vedios are exactly what our country needs to see. Good wholesome and honest LOVE and RESPECT for one another. G-D bless you all.
I love the episodes with Gabby and her puppies... Trying talk my wife in getting a German Shepard... Had one when I was younger and was one of the best dogs I had ever owned.
It’s a good idea to clip the puppies toenails so they don’t scratch her when they’re feeding. Especially once they get up and start walking in their own feces and things like that. You all are doing a wonderful job with Miss Gabby. It’s obvious that they are all very well loved and taken care of
Dutch perhaps putting a large old blanket or mat of sorts in the new whelping pool for pups and Gabi. Then get her favorite mat washed and placed into her kennel where she can go rest yet be close to puppies. She will love that.😀
I think it is whatever you decide to do will be the right decision. So far you guys are doing everything right. I can tell Gabby loves you guys so much. I just told my wife the other day that it is amazing to me how God has created an animal that loves humans. And they do and will do anything for them when they are being treated and took care of so well. " Gabby will lay her life down for every one of you in the house!"
Awesomenes to cute I am so glad she is doing good also glad the lil fur babies are doing good YALL have a blessed day thank you for your videos they are awesome
When I bred my husband’s dog, Duchess, our vet said that we needed to deworm Duchess around the time that she was almost due to deliver her litter & then deworm her again as well as the puppies at their sixth week first vet check & immunizations. I would imagine that your vet will probably say something similar but I think that would ultimately be up to your vet. We were very successful in raising the puppies until it was time for them to go to their forever homes but we were very careful as to who actually got to take a puppie home with. As a result, one couple I turned away as I didn’t like the feeling I got from the wife. The very next people who came to see the puppies was a family with small children. They wound up taking home the very same puppy that the couple had wanted. The only main difference was that all the puppies had run from the woman, which is why I turned them away but the puppies swarmed to every member of this family & the last that I saw of the puppy it was licking at every place it could reach of the little boy whose lap it was on & the little sister on either side of him.yy
Maybe get a round washable rug or two with a diameter about the same as the doggie pool so you can wash one while the other is in the pool so Gabby has a soft place to relax from the pups. She’s such a good mom to those cute puppies.
the Vet is your best source for info on the worming medicine. I watch your videos daily. Enjoy family and dogs. My family have flown the coup and live too far away to see them much so I enjoy the dynamics of your family as well as the dogs and puppies. Via con Dios
Absolutely nothing wrong with interacting and playing with the puppies. We had a litter of 6 pups last November and we had a ball with them all. Gave all but 1 away and when they come to visit, they are the most loving dogs and very very protective of our family, especially the male we kept, he's now our main guard dog. So definitely interact with them, let them learn your scents and get them used to people early.
your right haters are going to hate i guess honestly the more you interact with the puppies the better it not only bonds them to people it also get them used to being handled
@@redschafer7804 My experience with dogs with little to no human bond early on is aggression towards everyone. The dogs I've raised and trained with that early bond were all extremely loyal to the family that feeds them, and cautious of anyone they don't know until the family shows the dog that person is alright. I cant wait to get another German Shepherd. They are so much fun to train, so loyal and instinctively very protective of their family. GSDs are also highly resistant to pain compared to other breeds.
@@rtek777 i know that's been my experience also even the US Government has a program that uses early interaction to train their K9 candidates we had a bull mastiff puppy that was handled by her breeder from day one and she was the sweetest dog I've even had. i also rescued a 3 month old boxer/Rottweiler/ pit mix that had so many issuses due to the fact the she had little to no human interaction for the first three months of her life, she was the craziest and untrainable dog i ever had
It's very important to socialize them. Watch, some will be lovers and some will be stand offish, watching everything before deciding to be involved. German Shepherds are ALL great dogs. Smart ,nurturing, protective, loving. You are blessed if they love you.
Dutch, you’ve got to keep two. This will be her last litter. Keep two so it’s safe to be safe.... , she feels safe with the enclosure of the cage. She don’t want no one to steal her sweet babies. God bless you all. 🙏✌️🤟👍
@@KeepingItDutch please make sure not to keep a female and female and male and male. Make sure to have both genders. They can get pretty aggressive to each other when there the same gender.
I do think she should have her bed in her kennel if that's what she's accustomed to, as a place to sleep by herself, once she knows her furrbabies are ok in the pool. As others point out, more old blankets that you know will laundered frequently. I don't think she minded the putting her furrbabies in a different location than she minded the hide & seek game! She's a beautiful dog & belongs to a beautiful family. She also has all the kids fooled thinking the birthing process is painless! Heh heh. 😸😸
Robbie Kenan I agree. Gabby just went through a difficult Birthing process and surgery along with the drain of nursing. Give her a break! Their nails should also be clipped because they can scratch her incisions and teats.
It's always safe to ask the vet when it comes to worming a feeding dog. Just love watching the motherly instinct that Brandy has. Yea! Hayden feels better. Love seeing the puppies as so cute and huggable. Dutch that's a nice place for the puppies and Gabby can stretch out. Enjoyed this and hugs to Gabby. Love y'all
Hi you have a nice family And beautiful German shepherd Don't worry about the dislikes because they don't have Dog's specially German shepherds I love your video's.
Gabby reminds me of my German Shepherd daisy that passed away. Watching her makes me so happy and keeps Daisy’s memories alive! Thank you for sharing her with us. She’s a great mama:)
