@@zoeysiddiqi1532 Werner barely played. And Werner never was supposed to be a replacement for Klose. Klose was a real 9 and a powerhouse of header goals. Also Brandt was the player who hit the goalposts 3 times with (too) perfect shots from far outside the box.

They were dominant but didn't create many high calibre chances. They almost never tried to get into 1 on 1 challenges.

For me Germany still played really well in 2022. They show attractive football but somehow it’s hard for them to keep composure against weaker teams. Hope that in 2024 they won't be a victim to this psychology issue. I mean Germany Vs Spain was the best game in the tournament so far. Knock outs without such a strong team became weaker. The same thing about Uruguay - i’d rather watch Uruguay Vs Brazil then brazil Vs korea
