I know Hegering is injured. I think nusken is in rotation to rest. Not sure about the others. Germany has always played best as a unit. A good physical hardworking unit. Everyone has a job and everyone does their job well. Lately, It takes Germany 45 minutes to figure out what their job is. Once it clicks, it’s clinically but it take a while to click. They definitely have the talent and they definitely have the experience. They just need to find out to get the best out of it.
The coach, Horst Hrubesch, is testing his players for the Olympic Games reduction to a squad of 18 players, already included 2 goalkeepers. All other participants of the Olympic games have to do the same job. Sarina Wiegman has the problem, that England cannot participate at the Olympic Games, only Britain. That means, an 18-players-mixture of the teams of Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland & England. The German trauma caused by miserable coaching during the WC in Australia & New-Zealand is not healed till now. This takes time.
Gracias a Dios.
@@unknownnamerealpicture I do not think there is anything predefined in women's football in our days. Daily fitness & lucky coincidence took over. Meanwhile there are many good teams on the pitches. The physical advantage of the US is gone...
Not sure how this is with you, but despite 4 out of 4, it seems to me that Germany still has a lot of homework to do before Paris. US/AU/ZM will not let Germany go away with it so easily. - the opponent scores out of an early defense mistake - Germany seems to be strongly dependent of Klara Bühl and Lea Schüller for the goals. If Sydney Lohmann had a similar accuracy in her strikes, Germany would have had it significantly easier. - Germany needs a standard situation (this time, a corner) to open their score Could it also be that Germany suffers from injuries? Or is it just rotation? (I'm asking this because the Netherlands added yet another two players on the already impressive list of injuries) I did not see players like Merle Frohms (1), Marina Hegering (5), Sjoeke Nüsken (9), Bibiane Schulz-Solano (4). Positive note: Elisa Senß (20) gets better and better.

Marina Hegering is injured, Frohms was on the bench because 3rd Goalkeeper Johannes was given the chance of her first cap, Schulze-Solano had a bad game in Nuremberg last friday as well as Nüsken. Hrubesch uses the qualifiers matches as a showdown to reduce the 23 players squad for the Euro qualifiers to the 18 players only squad allowed for the Paris Olympics.
Similar game in both legs, and similar to the Denmark-Spain match. These teams have to get better at parking the bus, defending further forward, not conceding corners. But it gets better all the time.
