I miss Germany and all the dense Public transport coverage their cities have. It's not only good for commuters. It's great for exploring in your free time and it makes getting out and socialising much easier when you're not old enough to drive.
Apfelcider is here in Germany and Austria Applejuice with a bit Alcohol. Applejuice with Carbonate is Apfelschorle. I prefer this cold, frech from the fridge. Same with beer. Ther are diffrent kinds of beers in Germany. I like the Black beers. More malt and stronger.
These little ladders on the roof are called "Schneefang" (engl. Snowcatch). They are installed to pretend people on the streets from avalanches if the snow is building up or start melting.
Maultaschen are the best. I live in NRW and 15 years ago even the cheap maultaschen at aldi didn't exist. My aunt from Stuttgart always got some really good and fresh ones, packaged them really well and send them to me with express shipping. So damn good. Btw: Maultaschen are also called "Herrgottsbscheißerle" (could be roughly translated as "god fooler"). Back in the day when religious fasting was still common and people couldn't eat meat for a while, they decided to hide the meat inside the Maultaschen so god wouldnt notice.

In English I would call the litte Ladders Snowbreakers . When it Snows a lot and you have a lot of Snow on the Roof this things hinder the Snow to fall on the Street all at once so there is no damage to Cars or Pedestrians walking by .

Kleine, aber wichtige Korrektur: Wie die werten Damen richtig feststellten, Schorle ist normales Sprudelwasser mit entsprechendem Saft. Appelcider wäre mit dem Apfelwein vergleichbar, welche auch nochmal ne Nummer für sich ist. Das Dreieck aus Apfelwein, Cider und französischem Cidre ist aber auch immer wieder lecker, kommt ganz auf die Tagesform an :D A small but important correction: As the ladies correctly pointed out, Schorle/spritzer is normal sparkling water with the appropriate juice. Apple cider would be comparable to Apfelwein, which is also a number in its own right. But the triangle of Apfelwein, cider and french Cidre is always delicious, depending on the mood of the day :D
Do you know that story about maultaschen ... called herrgottsscheißerle ? Your little sister is sooo cute... now in winter I would show tham Garmisch partenkirchen and the zugspitze . Thay could learn drive snowboard .
Just some nerdy knowledge from my side. Maultaschen have been invented in medievel times by the monks. During the Lenten season (Fasting period) it was not allowed for them to eat meat. So the "hide" it inside of the pasta squares, and thought God can't see it so. From then the Maultaschen also called as "Herrgottspscheisserle" (god fraud) Thanks to the monks we have Maultaschen and Bier! :)

My favourite chocolate: Lindor by Lindt. Chocolate balls. There is a golden bag with different taste chocolats: White, black, milk and noisette. Not that cheap, but a different level of pur chocolate taste.

One of my absolut fav candies is "Kinder Hippo" this is a candy which you put into the freezer to cool it down, it ist actually not that sweet. Ps: there is actually a word like "Digestif" which means "Absacker" or " Verdauungsschnaps" and the "ladders" on the roof are for roofer or chimey sweaper or generally to repair something and have a releativley safe stand on the roof or you mean the one who are used to block snow from falling down.
Ladders: No. These horizontaly mount "ladders" are to keep the snow on the roof, so nobody gets hurt by falling snow and ice in winter. But indeed there vertically mounted true ladders for the chimney sweeper, but not shown in the vid.

I am a man and I only drink radler 😂😂 funny story few years back I was in Croatia and was with my buddies out drinking and I asked for radler and everyone looked at me like "WTF" at that time nobody knew what radler is(Croats are also big beer drinker)and my buddies were like nobody will drink that here, maybe some girls. 😂I did order regular beer and sprite and have make me my own "radler" few years later and we have so many different sorts of "radler" 😂😂😂😂
