You Gers fans were phenomenal. We average around 11k home fans at Pool but only 4k bothered to go to this game. It's a pity because managers from other clubs last season were praising Pool fans for the noise we make all through the game and wished they had that support at their own ground. It’s quite ironic hearing how Rangers fans are saying that Calvin Bassey is the new business model and Rangers will buy low and sell high, signing top young prospects just like a progressive European club should do. Celtic vs Blackburn - brilliant game. Rangers vs West Ham - brilliant game. The sad reality is that those are more competitive than any game outside the Old Firm that Celtic or Rangers will see this season. How amazing would it be to have that level of competitive football EVERY WEEK? We’re far too big for Scottish football! It would do wonders for Celtic and Rangers if we got a move to the EFL. Anyone who says “wE’Re ScOtTiSh wE ShOuLD pLaY iN sCoTLaNd” can do one. It would take our club to another level having that standard of football every week as opposed to facing 10 men behind the ball every week for 90 minutes! Not only would it be better for an entertainment perspective because we’d actually see competition, but think of the players we could sign on top of being able to hold on to our best players? It’s a win-win for both parties. Celtic and Rangers win because we’d get competitive football and we’d finally be in a league that fits the size and scale of the clubs, and the EFL would win because we’d definitely be a huge asset to their league in terms of the passion and spectacle we’d bring. EPL/EFL fans can say what they want, but we all know they’d highlight the annual away day to Celtic Park and Ibrox above all else! GET CELTIC & RANGERS TO THE EFL!
