Hi, Mike! I am_ is the verb to be and watching is the second verb. So, it is a gerund. That's what I understand! When using the verb to be, the second verb will be always in the gerund (present continuous). For example: I am teaching, I am dancing, I am playing, etc. I can be wrong!!! Give me a hint !
@TeacherMikeEnglish
@TeacherMikeEnglish Год назад
Hi. If you have BE + VERBING and VERBING is the thing that the subject is doing, that is not a gerund. That is present continuous. A gerund is when you use VERBING as the subject/object, not as a main verb.
