I think it's more disrespectful for Tank to take it easy on his partner because his partner got in there to fight against one of the best in the world, not to be carried.

It’s to work on specific things, sharpen and tighten up certain parts of your skill set, the guys absolutely right, not to say you shouldn’t go hard in sparring but it’s not like a boxing match lol treating it like a boxing match does no good for you because you haven’t worked on anything for the most part, you’re just executing to win and that’s not what sparring is about, also typically you want a sparring partner that mirrors your next opponents style or has similar tendencies
