This doctor needs to be cloned and put into every medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about health. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos. I respect this man immensely. 🙋🙋🙋
Before someone jumps on here and says yes but he is not a doctor?... He is it chiropractic doctor, who does so much research it makes me love him to death because I don't have to do the research myself any longer and he combines it to where even a senior citizen can get the right info and be healthy. I love people who research information and especially when they break it down into words a layman can understand.❤
Amen! Another incredible Chiropractic Doctor is Bryan Ardis! His research on antibiotics, synthetic venoms and nicotine will save many lives from the poison poke that starts with a V ! Check him out!
That's the catch ,they don't want people to get healthier they want everyone to be sick all the time so that they can put people on medications and more drugs , it's a worldwide moneymaking venture.
@@Strangers7816 do not like it…ate it a lot as a kid. Nope. I grew up on vegetables. Only eating meat/protein once a week. Liver was and still Is my favorite. Cannot find anyone who can make it like my grandma did back in the day
Dr Berg notes Let’s look at the best food sources of the most important vitamins and minerals. When it comes to protein, grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat are the best sources. People often think carrots are high in vitamin A, but they don't contain the active form. Retinol, the active form of vitamin A, is found in liver, fish, cod liver oil, and egg yolk. There are two types of iron: non-heme iron, found in plants, which is not very absorbable, and heme iron, found in liver and red meat. Red meat, fish, eggs, cheese, and liver are all excellent sources of B vitamins. You can get B vitamins from grains, but grains contain phytic acid, which blocks the absorption of trace minerals. Nutritional yeast and sunflower seeds are also good sources of B vitamins. Collagen is a protein that makes up ⅓ of the body's protein. Consuming the skin from meat and fish, bone broth, and organ meats can help supply the body with collagen. Cod liver oil, sardines, and fatty fish help provide vitamin D3, but the sun is the best source. Supplements can be helpful if you can't get enough sunshine. Shellfish, cod, dairy, eggs, sea kelp, and sea salt are the best sources of iodine. Shellfish, organ meat, red meat, and Brazil nuts are the best sources of selenium. Oysters, beef, organ meats, and pumpkin seeds are the best sources of zinc. Fatty fish is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids. You can get ALA from algae, the precursor to omega-3 fatty acids. Fish and dairy contain magnesium, but not very much. Pumpkin seeds, greens, and chocolate are the best food sources. Animal foods are also not the best source of potassium. Consume plenty of greens and avocado to help get potassium. Check out these meal ideas that include foods high in nutrients: •Steak, eggs, salad •Burger, cheese, sauerkraut •Liver, onions, cauliflower •Egg, avocado •Sardines, tomato •Tuna salad with nutritional yeast •Salmon, carrots, Brussels sprouts •Shellfish, mashed cauliflower •Short ribs, cheese, tomato Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍
Your contents are becoming more and more insightful. The work you have been putting in your videos in the last few years is helping me to have a clearer bigger picture.
The system doesn't want people to thrive unfortunately. Which is also why they don't teach us about finances, how to buy a house and so on. They need people to screw up their lives because it keeps them rich.
Morning: scrambled eggs, cheese, turmeric, pepper. Cottage cheese with berries. Dinner: Beef, arugula and herb salad, sprinkled with pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds, topped with apple cider vinegar and olive oil. That's all. Next meal, in the morning)))
Thank you Dr. Berg!!!! Since watching your content this last month I’ve been healing my PCOS/Insulin resistance and have lost 15lbs already (in 1 month!! Keto+IF) and feel amazing. Friends.... Today, There are "Sabbath Laws/Sunday Blue Laws" on government books? There are organizations working hard to bring these laws to the forefront once again. The United States Of America "legislated Sabbaths" are calculated by man's time, namely, The Famous Gregorian Calendar. I was told, the state I live in, acknowledges "Sunday" as the Sabbath. Research God's Time /Calendar in Genesis 1:14. The sun, moon and stars are true time. Days are calculated by the lights in heaven. That includes the Sabbath day. Friday, Saturday nor Sunday are the true Sabbath day. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14. Research this important subject. The Sabbath issue is a great controversy amongst God's people. It is a great possibility God may allow "The Powers To Be" to enforce a national Sabbath Law to see if we will obey His commands or man's commands. To see if we will obey man's sabbath calculated by man's time or God's Sabbath calculated by God's Time❤️
Dr. Berg really cares for ppl. He actually responds to the comments of the ppl. That’s rare! He is a true blessing, he really cares about the ppl. May God bless him and his family.

My hot chocolate drink formula: 2tbs cacao powder (10.8g), 1 tbs flaxseed, cinnamon, shredded coconut, milk, and sweetened with monk fruit extract or liquid stevia. Disclaimer: I showed 100g for standard unit comparison purposes, but I only eat about 10 g per day. I am NOT recommending eating 100g of cacao per fay.

I did clean and strict Keto for 3 years. Lost 100 lbs in the first 8 months. I decided to go carnivore a little while ago and right a away I noticed less bloating and gas. However being a disabled vet with a family of 4 to feed, I just can't afford steak. So I used my trusted ground beef and eggs combo but after 6 weeks, I have come to completely hate ground beef. Carnivore is just not palatable for me for long term with not being able to eat solid meat. No matter how I prepare the ground beef, I have skipped eating all together at times because of this new meat aversion. I think I will be going back to Keto but now even lettuce upsets my stomach. If I could afford steak cuts, I know I could live carnivore.
Maybe you could try doing some homemade sauerkraut I could never eat the store bought kind. But a friend gave me a large jar of her homemade sauerkraut and I liked it so much that I ate it every meal. The reason I am telling you this is; It helped my stomach tremendously. It had gotten to where almost everything I ate hurt it The ulcers in my mouth that had been there for a month even went away.
Sorry to hear about this. I put my one pound of grass fed ground beef in a heavy pan with lid and about add some water. About a third of the patty is submerged. It steams the meat and is very palatable. I too was getting tired of ground beef, but this method cooks it nicely. Just chop up after steaming. The only grass fed meat I can afford. Hang in there.😉
Dessert, homemade yogurt w 1 T chia seeds soaked overnight. In the morning I add some kefir to thin out, a couple drops of stevia and a couple walnuts.
Lots of vitamins in the stores and even the so call health food stores are full of Cheap ingredients. I noticed that yesterday it's very hard to find real organic Vitamins in local Health food stores ..... vitamin E, Vitamin B1 , fish oil, etc I saw stevia with hidden sugar, the workers doesn't know what Dr Berg is teaching us unless they Google his RU-vid channel. So Take your notes on his videos on everything
I too have learned the hard way that vitamins and supplements are not the same. Wouldn't surprise me if some fish oil capsules are nothing but seed oils.
highest form of Vit C is in rose hips. Think about how long the bud of the rose flower has baked in the sun all summer since June. It has 10x the amount of Citrus C as oranges
Nutrients is that what the body needs, most human imperfection is usually always a scarsity or disruption of our ability to improve and maintain ourselves
I like Brussels sprouts with an organic pasture-raised chicken, or wild-caught salmon (pan-seared in butter) and served on a bed of arugula lettuce with a light vinaigrette I make myself.
It's a very common lettuce. In most grocery stores, you can buy an organic version, which is what I do. Arugula is very tasty. Has a bit of a peppery taste on the tongue
appreciate how you broke down the importance of both animal and plant-based sources for a complete nutrient profile. For those looking to optimize their meals, consider incorporating a variety of colorful vegetables alongside your protein sources. This not only enhances the meal's nutrient density but also adds beneficial antioxidants and fiber. Additionally, pairing vitamin C-rich foods with iron sources can improve iron absorption, especially for those who may be concerned about their iron levels.
Nuts have neither* 5 1/2 POUNDS every single day of mushrooms needed *the O-3 precursors are very poorly converted in humans, as is the non-heme iron in plants and beta carotene to vitA

I'm 56 years old and 2-1/2 years in on your version of healthy keto, I can't think you enough for guiding me in the right direction on eating healthy!!!!
I have a Keto meal I like to make that tastes great Fish & Broccoli, I used Tilapia Skinless because I can't take the fishy taste, I put one Filet in the air fryer on Aluminum foil if frozen I start on 360 Degrees for 7 minutes non Frozen 5 minutes, I give a healthy dose of Cajun seasoning on the exposed side, after 7 minutes I flip and use Cajun seasoning on the other side or blackened seasoning. then for the sauce and broccoli, I place tsp of butter, 3/4 oz of heavy cream, tsp of Curry powder, tsp of Tumeric, tsp of coconut oil, lemon juice 5-8 drops, wine vinegar 5-8 drops, and a dash more of Cajun seasoning, in a cup and 1 cup of Broccoli on the Microwave for two minutes, then pour the sauce over the Baked fish and Broccoli. It takes 12 minutes in total and is a gourmet meal.
I make a concoction that I call THOMB, consisting of marinara Tomato sauce and chopped cooked Tomatoes; grass fed Hamburger browned; sautéed Onions; Mushrooms, raw or canned; and Bacon. I also add some Himalayan Salt. Put them all into a pot and heat. It makes a healthy quick meal. I always use organic and grass fed and avoid anything with additives like MSG and Seed Oils.
I stopped eating cheese after a couple small strokes. I was eating quesadillas every day. Now I let myself have it once a month. 😢 I am not sure what caused the strokes, but suspect cheese. The only time I had low cholesterol was when I juice fasted for 6 weeks after artery surgery. I didn't get my grandma's genes: she had eggs, butter, meat every day. Her cholesterol was low. But she was Very Moderate in her portions. She lived to be 93, and died after she broke her tailbone and was hospitalized.
The ironic thing is, fatty foods dont cause cholestrol. That's what the System has taught us. Watch Dr Berg's videos on cholesterol and on strokes. That should really help you.
Cholesterol heals artery damage it didn’t cause the damage. That’s why it is in a damaged artery trying to fix the problem caused by sugar and carbs. It was the tortilla carbs not the cheese. And to heal you need cholesterol & meat fats. A juice fast is more sugar. Your body needed more cholesterol not sugar after artery surgery.
Dr. Eric Berg, please do a video on Iso-Tretinoin aka Accutane. A drug which basically is synthetic Vit A given for acne by dermats. How to recover from the side effects caused by it. Thanks.
My one meal a day starts with a large salad. I make it with green leaf lettuce, kale, Roma tomatoes, but just a bit, and avocado. Sauerkraut sprinkled in for flavor, a bit of Parmesan cheese and a good sprinkling of nutritional yeast. I sometimes sprinkle in some olive oil if I want. Then after that I’ll have 3 boiled eggs, a small steak, or salmon.Mostly the eggs though since I’m cheap. Then I’ll have a nut mixture I put together of raw sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, and Brazil nuts. If I can manage to have anything else I’ll have a small amount of blueberries. I squeeze a lemon and drink that with a straw along with water. I’ll also take a few vitamins at that time. Whew! lol Let me know how to improve my meal if you will.
I eat something very similar. Although I eat more meats too. My suggestions would include some bran-fibre, DIY salad dressing from probiotic type kefir/yogurt "stuff", olive-oil, now making DIY Sauerkraut/Kimchi (less spicy but more garlic) that I feed fresh cabbage weekly.
Although that is great please consider that humans under 25 years old are still growing long-bones and their brains, their dietary needs include carbs for growing that adult have already done. Just reduce sugars and seed-oils, add family activities / exercise.
I love scrambled eggs with avocado for breakfast, it's like the perfect meal for me, I could eat it for every meal if avocado wasn't so expensive at the moment.
I’m really impressed with your meal suggestions! Especially the combination of steak, eggs, and salad. These are foods I can easily find and combine for a more balanced diet. Thanks for the great ideas!
I eat twice a twice a week and when I do, it's a salad (consisting of half a head of iceberg lettuce chopped, a green bell pepper sliced, a small avocado sliced, half a medium cucumber sliced, 8 cherry tomatoes sliced, 20 small black olives, a tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar and a sprinkle of sea salt with black and white pepper), with 250g of canned tuna mixed with 2 tbsp of mayo, 3 boiled eggs (steamed) and 60g of mature cheddar cheese, followed by 125g of blueberries, 100g of plain Greek yogurt and 8 tsp of chia seeds (soaked) for dessert.
You are so amazing! 🙏My husband and I were just discussing the topic of some meals that are more nutritional. Perfect timing on the video.. now I have my shopping list.🎉 thank you for the education & caring about healthy lifestyle! 💕
Veganism is not a diet though, it's an ethical stance against animal abuse and exploitation, it's the idea that nobody else has to suffer and die for your health when we can thrive on a 100% plant based diet
@@hw2kexcept the billions of small animals slaughtered every season during start of farming and harvesting. Vegans only care about the "popular " animals. And long term vegans don't thrive, they just survive or they get back on meat.
@@hw2k Veganism is in fact a diet. Your definition of "diet" is too narrow-any practice of restricting the types of food one consumes for whatever reason qualifies as one.
I just bought a pkg deal of grass fed beef from a local winery/farm. I'm super surprised how much I enjoy it. Very tasty. Hot dogs, hamburger, sausages. Beef bavette was lean but put leftovers in a soup with veggies. My other two roommates, haha (husband & son) like it as well. Easy dinner ideas for sure. Hopefully they'll follow suit someday. (No pressure) Love your content Dr Berg! You're helping a lot a people.
A few days a week for my first meal: 2 pasture raised eggs, seasoned with all of my fresh herbs from the garden , with melted grass fed cheddar, with grass fed ground meat , avocado, spinach from garden, tomatoes from the garden and a side of fermented sauerkraut from cabbage from the garden and my homemade milk kefir as my drink .
Very good information, simple healthy food, high quality meat is expensive, I go with frozen lamb from Australia or New Zealand, very very cheap compare to Beef. for Fish, I use Canned Mackerel, as good as organic salmon but 1/4 of the cost. Eggs almost every day, average 4 to 5 a meal. Also have organ meat in small potion with my meals. Also to manage all these, you have to cook in bulk, mainly the protein, Eggs or Mackerel is 5 minutes preparation. Salad with every meal with tons of Olive Oil. Dessert , 90% dark chocolate, Spanish hot chocolate, kefir or Yogurt with berries, cheese , Heavy Cream with berries, Tahini paste, ....
The fat content is important! The fat is what keeps you from getting hungry just make sure it's the kind of fat and not processed. I use bacon fat, olive oil and the fat I get in 80/20 ground beef grass-fed. When you're on keto correctly getting enough fat You don't have to spend a lot of money on grass-fed beef because you really are NOT hungry@@containedhurricane
Try straight carnivore or the lion diet which is beef/steak only. Also look into glutithione, I get extra with using glutithione suppositories and by doing Gerson coffee enemas. You can google all of the above 👆 also parasite cleanse helps to. best of luck ❤
Thank you so much for telling everyone that red meat is good for you. I am very healthy at 66 years old and I eat red meat and fast. Even younger people always ask me how I stay so thin and young looking for any age.
Dr. Berg, I’m 32 and have suffered from chronic swollen joints for about 6 years. I believe it may be RA, but when I had blood work done it didn’t show markers for RA. In the last two years I have gained weight and was always at a very healthy weight before that. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Im always surprised to not hear guavas on the list of most beneficial fruits to consume. They are great for helping those with diabetes and high blood pressure.
