Thank you for your reply..having trouble answering it so here goes..Yes I do understand the the tri per lit..my qustion is is the ah part of the 1 count or 2 count? If part of the 1 count ..1 ah..then I assume the note change is quick between the ah and 2 and held till the 3 count? Also are you doing all down strokes or up n down..thanks for your time...
It's part of the 1 count - I'll do a video about it, it'll be much easier to explain like that! :-) I use a mix of downa and up strokes, but mainly down for this I think.
I am having so much trouble with my shuffle... dosent sound so much like yours....its not a straight rhythm but still not like yours..when is the an ? Is it An 2 or 1 an then 2 an etc.. the 2nd note is it on the an or the 2? Other wise great series... thank you
I'll do a short about this later, but basically, with a shuffle, instead of dividing each beat in two - 1 &, 2 &, 3 &, 4 &, as you would in a straight rhythm, each beat is divided in to triplets, or threes, like this - 1 & A, 2 & A, 3 & A, 4 & A, Then to get the shuffle rhythm, you play on the first and third part of each triplet, like this - 1 _ A, 2_ A, 3_ A, 4_ A, Hope that helps!
