Aw thank you so much! I'll definitely put a transcription video on my ideas list! For now I would say to do transcriptions in accordance to what kind of analysis you are doing. If you are doing a very linguistic analysis, put all the pauses and ehms in there. If you are going for more of a discourse analysis those details are not so relevant. But most importantly stay consistent. Also set aside more time than you think for doing the transcriptions! It takes about 6 times longer to do a transcription than the recording is itself. I've used ExpressScribe to do a lot of transcriptions. It's free and you can set your keyboard shortcuts as you wish. All the best //Kirstine :D
