This is by no means perfect, and the software is paid, so I understand it's not going to be for everyone. If you're one of those people that likes to tinker around with these kinds of things and is willing to give it a try, this is a great place to begin. I'm just not sure why the webcam is gathering all the data and then the tracking in VRChat looks very different. If anyone knows, please put it down here, I'm sure people know more about this AI then I do. Anyway, let me know which methods you're using to get Full Body and I will see you in the next one! ❤
@the mysticle do you know if is there an app to make so the quest 2 can track your body just by looking into a mirror? for exmple, if i am inside a room with 3 mirrors i get a perect body tracking if not could you please ask anyone if they know any of that? if nothing like that exists maybe someone will create it
In the future it would help to use a more humanoid avatar with longer limbs. It's hard to tell if knees are being tracked correctly when your avatar basically doesn't have any
6:34 This is what I'm here for. It means a lot to hear from someone else that it's not just me that the software captures much much more than what it's giving to Vrchat. I really hope they fix it, because as it is right now.. It's pretty unusable.
Yeah. Last time I tried, i was impressed at how accurately the webcam could track me... to then feel awful in vrchat. Not accurate at all, bending your knees doesn't seem to be taken well enough and moving your legs in general felt inaccurate af, which is kinda what is the most important
When you have issues like this it’s very important to put it on the Canny so the devs can fix it. The Devs can’t fix it if they aren’t aware of it. And they don’t find out about it if you’re just complaining about it on YT, Discord, or Reddit. They created the Canny forums specifically for this reason.
I’m going to try this out with my pc, do you think the next update will help with this method? I had seen previous videos to get Fbt on stand-alone but the instructions you said were not as clear. Maybe next time you make a turtorial focus on directions. Love the vid man! Very helpful!
Alright so I tired it out and it looks great in the app, but steamVR seems to receive it with huge latency and less precision so the final effect is really bad
Tbh the easiest way to do standalone FBT is with PineQuest, it’s only available for iPhone for now though; No need for PC, no need to download software in Quest, just an iPhone and a Quest
will it still work within steamvr if I connected my quest to my computer and use the pcvr version? I'm wondering if everything is the same for the pc-vr, itd be nice if you'd make a vid for quest 2 through the link cable (or wireless link)
hi, i want to cancel the arm elbows on the viewers, how can i do that? I only want to keep the legs, waist, chest and knees, I only want to cancel the elbows, how can I do that? can you help me urgently please
Eye Ps3 camera must be great cause it has 75hz at 640×480 resolution and costs like 10$€ used. Another great one is Xbox One Kinect Sensor V2 cause of its wide field of view and infrared camera for around 35$€.
you should try something called pinosoft! it uses your phone and creates fbt using your camera on your phone! I've been using it for the past 2 days and it's amazing and has way better wuality tracking than this software you reccommended! it has a free 3 day trial and you can spend 20 dollars on it later if you decide to use it. seriously i really think you should review this and maybe compare the results to this software you used in this video! the creator of app is also very responsive and cares about the people he made the app for!
@@BoneEnthusiast I might be getting a code in a few days, since I transferred my license but then found out it'll take a few days so I bought another one. When I receive it, I'll send it to you.
Great info as always! So MocapForAll you tested vs Driver4VR on this Video, What do you think is the best? Or Something else? And what do you think about making one of those software using Google Mediapipe or tensorflow?
I have a big question please help me. So its about the menu in VrChat FBT i can't see those options why? I tryed looking for them i can't find tracking options not completely there is no calibration or a way to enable it please help me out
Should really be using an avatar with human legs when you're trying to show off full-body tracking, lol. No clue how a dog with two leg joints is supposed to display that properly
Sooooo....stupid question....is there a way, with no PC abd a quest 2, to use actual security cameras to get tracking....I have blink security cameras I run from my phone....can these be converted to FBT?
If you are in touch with them. tell them to set a color you should or could wear gloves and socks in. Like key-out-green or what ever. everybody has white but yeah, theyll know why white doesnt make the much sense. find the right color and sell a pack of gloves + socks and maybe even something for elbows and knees or what ever. wouldnt speed up the deeplearning process it self but it would improve usability which would pull in more users which then would speed up the process. Making these socks with a sertian pattern(like the mocap suits) could result in even more recognition. pardon my englisch its late and am lazy. I dont wanna pay big bucks for a tech that my phone and a bit of cardboard is capable off doing, so get going. xD
I used it and the legs of every avatar is broken every time i launch steamvr. I haven't been able to fix them at all. Anyone know how to fix it so the legs arnt wonky on vrchat when im not useing Driver 4?
Driver4vr does not want to connect to the helmet's IP address, there is nothing in the OSC debug, it says that something needs to be done with port 9000
@@riplmaogoodbye Oh, great to hear it works just fine for you! :) Well, as for me whenever I used it, I would have lots of problems with it. Whenever I got it to work, it was kind of wonky and just simply didn't meet my expectations.
@@hollowsoul51 yeah, it IS in deep learning right now, so it'll take a bit to be better, but they actually just added a smoothing feature so if your PC is slow, it'll look fine on VRChat!
i still wish i could try the slime vr trackers, as someone from south america idk where i cant get them shipped here, the official site will arrive in april and i wanna use them before february, does anyone know someone who can build and send them to me? im very interested in purchasing those cheap fb trackers for christmas T^T
@@errr7656 Na, bay station - could also support charging and wireless direct access to a PC all while acting as a the method to do body tracking with the different sensors.
i need help because whenever i enable full body and try to calibrate it, the osc cubes aew just way off to the side or keep glitching around everywhere. WHAT DO I DO TO FIX IT
