I discovered you some time ago using Elektrons and I'm glad seeing you using a Polyend Tracker too. I found it a real smart piece of design tool for music making and also a great midi sequencer ;) Thanks for sharing!
One of my new favourite youtubers in the synth youtube realm, so wholesome and friendly, chill and still entertaining and even learning something. Really appreciate you and your work ❤️
Pretty good for someone that never had a tracker 👍🙂 A shame you didn't grow up with Amiga trackers. For many people it's pure nostalgia working with a tracker again. You should totally get a NerdSEQ if you like this one. The NerdSEQ is awesome for precision cv out.
Yeah Amiga rulez! I grow up with Amiga trackers. 1990-95! For me the all time best is Oktalyzer. You can choose 4,5, 6 - 8 tracks. Protracker has only 4.
It just dawned on me that you haven't had a video with the Tracker until now. It's a really cool unit. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Maybe try sequencing the modular via MIDI?
Very simplified description of Polyend Tracker is basically Digitakt just with sequencer rotated 90 degrees clockwise :-D Yeah there are many places where Tracker has something what Digitakt doesn't have and vice verza, but for somebody who never used any tracker it gives at least idea :)
I think the real advantages of PT over DT is a big color screen & super simple workflow. In sound design, sequencing, automation - DT is super powerful horse 💪
Don't forget you have a radio here to sample, plus not only synth based on single cycle waveforms, but also a granular and a wavetable synth too... EQ, Boost, and Spacer are also really neat additions ;)
I remember looking into this a couple of years ago, and i remember it had some really interesting features. I ended up with NI Maschine MK3 instead though, which i think is by far the best option for my Komplete plugins - and way better for playing notes/triggering samples.
Ihor you have more experience with a tracker than you think. The Elektron sequencer is a tracker at heart but instead of entering in values manually using effects lanes you got a nice user interface with parameter locks. And instead of looking at the notes entered vertically you got it horizontally but with less spaces (only 16 steps per page). You got this 🙂
Good one man! Gives a good general understanding of trackers. You missed a bit not mentioning fill functionality (incl euclidean) and that one can *fill step effects* too. Lets say, fill + random + pan on a hats track FX2 gives an instant wide stereo percussion. Awesome video anyway, keep tracking!
Ihor my friend you inspire me to make music but I must be honest with you the samples or the wrecker machine dosnt, to me it’s just dull, these machines been about ages and havnt caught on far to menu dicey, time consuming much rather Modular and Electron boxes so dynamic and Hands on but hey not for everyone just not my cup of tea, only my opinion🤔🤔🤔🤔
I absolutely understand your view and appreciate that you shared your opinion, Martin! It really means a lot. I do like the Tracker and going to dig it more, but I do understand that it is not for everyone. Just like Modular, or even Elektron. Though my channel is not only about Elektron, nor only about the Modular. I'd like to keep experimenting with different approaches and setups and share these results along my journey. There is definitely going to be more Elektron and Modular, but not only. Hope that is understandable for you and the rest of this community! I appreciate you, my friend! ❤️
@@IhorMedia yes I totally understand that you have to cover many aspects of Synthesis even though I’m Modular biased One thing I’d like you to do is a Live case with Elements of ur past Episodes mixed together as an Example Clep vidio/ They insist me do it/ Also latest one SYNTAKT with Numeric, Pons, Pau Ruina and new Legio modules, complex but what a Combo 👍🆒🖐🎶🎶🎶🕸⚡️🔱🇬🇧👁🌟🌟🌟🌟
You sold me this machine. Period. Btw, your video quality, your camera angles, your editing….. Everything is ON POINT. It’s very, very professional to me, at the same level of the best official videos if it’s not better. I mean, I was there, using the machine, everything was very clear and comprehensive. That’s a HUGE talent to be able to let feel that. Thanks a LOT for this video Ihor and big salut 🫡 from France! ViNZ.
