I've always been working towards a simple, minimalistic, monochromatic setup (don't we all)--but began to hoard more and more plants, which I didn't expect at all haha. Now _this_ is actually close to what I truly want; close to nature and feels organic, yet still remains functional and clean. A green workspace just calms my anxiety and for some reason makes me productive. Cheers!

I personally don't setups with so much rgb and used in a dark room because for me it looks like you trying so hard to make it look like it's expensive which it is and it probably will hurt your eyes in the dark room even with rgb lighting. I like a simple but elegant setup with bright colors like white,orange,green,red and blue

Thanks for the kind words Justin. For starting plants I'd definitely first get the ones that are low maintenance and difficult to Jill before moving on to others after you've gained confidence. The snake plant (Dracaena trifasciata) or the zz plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) are great starting plants.

Perhaps the solution is to make two setups 😂 It''s easy to get caught up with copying a certain look and end up with a cookie cutter look. Maybe a white futuristic setup with plants could work? Either way you do you! I'd love to see what you come up with you can dm me on IG @thejxfiles

It's an Anne Pro 2 that I've modified with a walnut case, check it out here - kbdfans.com/products/60-wood-case-for-anne-pro-2 I've also got side printed keycaps - kbdfans.com/products/npkc-pbt-keycaps-104keys-side-print?_pos=2&_sid=d258b2665&_ss=r&variant=180141850637 The mods above would get you the aesthetics of the keyboard. For the feel, I also swapped out the switches with Zealios v2s. Though this change would require unsoldering and soldering so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's just starting. If you're just starting out it would be better to get a hot swappable board instead to change out the switches easily. Hope this helps!

Hey, I got it from Lazada an online marketplace that's popular in Singapore, using the search term GH60 wooden case. BUT I had to make some modifications on my Anne Pro 2 because the Anne Pro 2 does not come with your standard screw holes of most 60% keyboards. Thanks for your question! That's just a $2 piece of plywood that I torched (it's a Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban) to give it that dark look, and finished over it with water based polyurethane . Hope this helps!

I DIYed it with a Masu cup (japanese wooden sake cup). Torched the surface to darken the wood grain (look up Shou sugi ban technique) and mounted it onto the wall with double sided tape. Hope this helps! 😊

You have a 120hz monitor, but it is limited to 30hz because it goes through your dock/switch? right?

Hi PeterLava, thanks for watching! The monitor is connected to the switch via HDMI so it's limited to 30 fps when using the laptop. But for the main PC it's connected via Display Port so no issues on FPS there when gaming!
