When I was younger it was infuriating to play hockey or basketball games. I would get goaltending and icing calls so much I basically couldn't win due to penalties. Nobody would explain what the specifics of the rule was, so I didn't really ever understand why I got fouled. And I never found out they were rules added specifically to level the playing field, and I was doing them all the time because it's obviously the best tactic.
