Get it Done with Robotic Flat Bread Stacking 

Boston Conveyor & Automation (BCA), a FANUC Authorized System Integrator, has transformed flat bread stacking into a seamless, high-tech process. Their custom solution combines precision, efficiency, and hygiene, ensuring flawless packaging while adhering to stringent washdown and sanitary standards.
How the System Works:
Exiting a cooling tunnel on a 1.5m wide conveyor, the flat bread passes below a FANUC iRVision 2D camera. The camera and encoder then deliver product position information to 6 FANUC DR-3iB/8L delta robots. The large work envelope of the FANUC DR-3iB/8L makes it possible to pick across such a wide belt with minimal offset between the robots. The robots pick and stack the product on corresponding cross belts using BCA developed EOAT which was designed to cleanly handle flat products with irregular surfaces while being easily sanitized.
