I just want to tell you that you are inspiring me to live in Taiwan and stop everything i am doing right now to just live the life that i always wished for thank you for everything that you put into your videos we can see how much you love this country ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I honestly love these videos. You have progressed so far in taiwan than in Japan. I love watching your vlogs and experiences in Taiwan. Honestly, I live in the UK and in the city. I can ever find these amazing places in the Uk. Though I live more in a area full of valleys and countryside, It's not really the same. What advice would you give me to be able to find these kind of amazing places?
The custom of asking "Is the watermelon sweet?" to elicit the response of "It's sweet!" when taking photos makes much more sense than our "Say Cheese!" bit. I think those monkeys at 13:25 have learned how to pick the locks on those little trash can huts. It's too bad you didn't have time to explore more of this gorgeous park. The old folks know what's up.
Hey Jen! We loved this solo trip. My boyfriend really wants to visit Taiwan now because we’ve been watching your videos. Thanks for showing off this otherwise slightly underrated country. Honestly it looks so beautiful!!! Hope you had a blast and looking forward to the next one as always. Xxx
you always do such a lovely job of showing off Taiwan!! hopefully at some point soon it'll be open for tourism again and i'll be able to come, and i'll know exactly where to go thanks to your videos!
Thanks for another interesting video! And wow -- the skywalk is as high as 7 stories above the forest floor!? I definitely have to visit there sometime!
Thanks for the effort for making the video. Honestly I’m sure you will in tears when you see that beautiful sun rise and that moment you will never forget! I’m planning to go there end of 2023 and nantou will be in my bucket list.
This was so beautiful!! I love seeing all the offshoot trails. Lots of room to explore! 🤩 Thank you Jenn! (Going back for part 1 now, was out of order!)
Finally I was able to watch!!! That sky walk…scary to be so high. That leaf would have been a great umbrella if it rained. And clearly you were the youngest on the hike. ☺️
Xitou is magical. Next time there's another park higher there called Sun and Sea. The waterfalls and trails are magical. I think in March and April they also have peonies in the garden. Stay at the hotel there, watch the stars at night. I went by myself and had such a magical time.
Wow! Watching this I realized I've been to the skywalk before. Your videos make me miss Taiwan so much (US citizens can't get in to see relatives and travel for shorter periods of time)! But oolong at bedtime?? How can you sleep with all that caffeine on board?
Never mind on the music, as we can listen to the sound of the nature. Besides, the trail in Nantou (南投小俓) is similar to where I walked in the Peak. It is a walking trail for people, who are living in the Peak, hikers, foreigners and locals of Hong Kong, to have a walk, hike or jog in the morning. We can see the nature and surroundings of Hong Kong from up there.
I’m into growing bamboo and learned the kanji for bamboo and bamboo grove or forest. I saw them on the signage many times in your video but I wonder how they’re pronounced? 竹林 chikurin . Fun video and stay safe!
saw the bridge in xitou in your video, make me recall the memory when I first time go to xitou with whole classmates when I was in high school, my god ,almost thirty years ago
In Thailand, you're not supposed to feed monkeys either and if a monkey jumps on you, you're supposed to spin in a circle as fast as you can to fling them off you
That’s really gray advice lol. Especially since after I filmed them on the garbage can, the one on the left looked me dead in my eyes and started to make his way down. I ran 😂 bc I didn’t want my fluffy camera mic to disappear 😅
