It's not Instead, @@Tiblious, it's in Addition. Dredge lets you pull from both ends of your deck - it's not like you stop drawing cards from the top when you play it. It reduces the randomness considerably. Though, if you have some sort of tutor to fish the cards you want out of your deck, that removes the randomness entirely once you have it... in comparison to That, dredge is nothing special.
@@Tiblious One dredge gives 3 chances for finding the wanted card. That is 2 more than the singular chance of simply drawing the top card. It changes the probability a lot. However, tutoring is better.
