How damage works with or without the shields, how many bullets per the most used weapons effect fights. How to spray vs 3 players. How to win when you're 1 vs 5 and they have planted
In short: -ADADAD -Don't look at the floor -no firefights in the open -no standing still exposed to 5 angles -for the love of god don't hug the corner you're peeking Good tutorial, very clear on the basics. More people should see this, especially the ones that don't come from cs.
Hugging walls aren't always a bad idea; it allows for you to expose yourself to multiple angles faster giving you more flexibility when peeking. Basically since the area you need to move is incredibly small, pie peeking a room and exposing yourself/clearing 5+ angles/20 degrees will take maybe a second. If you're far away from the wall/door however, you need to travel a greater distance which will slow down your peek at the cost of a smaller target. Peeking from further away will also allow you to clear the room slower and taking on 1 guy at a time, maybe clearing 20 degrees every 1 second rather than 40/60/80 degrees every one second. Basically, the further away you are from the wall, the slower your peek and the more precise your peeking. The closer you are, the faster the peek though at the cost of a larger target.
Yeah as an overwatch player, peaking isn’t even important because everyone has different healths and it’s nearly impossible to one shot kill anyone even with a headshot depending on which character you play and who you play against. Hard to adjust but this is really helpful
SuperSweet I played a lot of games before I moved to csgo, (before I went on pc) and over watch was one of my favs you just gotta get used to the games mechanics and honestly just be aware of what game you playing , games like over watch you don’t gotta be as scared as in rainbow cs and valorant where a single pixel can show and that’s a death
This is by far the best guide I have seen for this game. Thank you so much! Other fancy channels just say basics like "talk with your team" or "cross placement", but here I have found the real useful technics that will help me in my games. Thank you, I wish there were more channels that give actual knowledge and not just "copy - paste" the basics from each other. Definitely subscribe and like.
Don't jiggle peak it's stupid with the way this game is and tagging jiggle peaking is useless you'd instantly get hit and be unable to move back and even if you get behind the wall you will get wallbanged and this is comming from an immortal 3 in the beta.
Good guide with solid information and presentation, but... consider talking a bit faster? Setting speed up to 1.25x makes listening much more comfortable. GJ otherwise!
@@wingboy0 wait... So should the content creator aim at making videos for the audience, that cant understand audible English (which is great, btw), spoken in a calm pase?… I mean, subtitles and 0.75x ftw than, you did give a good advice. But, speaking as slowly as he does in this one - makes the content creator waste a lot of time to fill the extra audio with unneeded video. That was my main reason to state, that he could have spoken quicker and save one or two hours to make the whole cut
I personally disagree. I find that the pacing of his speech gives you a moment to process and digest the information properly before moving on to the next detail.
15:18 I always do, but because I play against noobs they aim to body, and when I crouch that is a perfect headshot. But all in all these tips are great.
@@mocha7193 thanks, also, do you know if there's any way to stop your crosshair from moving when using ADS and shooting? I have trouble judging when to use ADS and when to use hip
That crouching doesn't work against certain guns that get bonuses to body shots. There are actual stats in the weapons that could aid in playstyle. The bunny hop one though is actually good until you meet a CS player that knows how to deal with bunnies.
Im diamond 2 player and even I learned how important is to peek quickly so I use the peekers advantage I was using it allready but now I know I should use it even more thanks!
@@tinymajor214 haha just play man getting boosted is not even fun if you were gold for example and someone boosts you tp diamond you will get 0 pleasure of the game trust me its not fun dieing the sec u see enemy :D
@@tinymajor214 I will say something obvious but trust me in this just play more thats how everyone improves just play and play and play as time passes you will see your rank rising
I think this is one of the best guides so far on this game of Valorant, still having one question tough When you are strafe peeking or jiggling, you said AD will not make sound if you do it properly?
This is why I always die, my enemies are just peeking and kill me instantly. I honestly thought of uninstalling valorant I'm just new and I face a lot of pro enemies. But I'm gonna try this guide and improve my aiming skill
Tip from a cs player with 1k hours , when you start off UNBIND YOUR CROUCH it's always been known newer player have a horrible habit of crouching TOO MUCH I say too much bc crouching can be very viable but if you keep doing it you become a bigger target and you become more predictible..unbinding your crouch also helps with crosshair placement which is in my opinion one of the most important things to learn constantly keeping your crosshair at head level helps build that muscle memory which is what you want to keep developing to make shooting a second nature thing
@MALEK001 001 when you peak and immediately crouch that's a no no people expect you to drop always bc why not it's accurate and you're smaller but it's too predictible and people prefire where your head should be, but if you hold an angle crouching it might catch them off guard but again you still are a big target crouching you go from a line to a big blob ripe for lighting up
Questions from new player: 1) Do I sprint while jiggle peaking? Or just walk? 2) So jiggle peaking and strafe shooting is like a combined skill here? I’m supposed to jiggle peak to utilize strafe shooting right?
Just to point this out; That was not Jiggle peeking, that was a normal short peek. Jiggle peeking is where you jump near the corner you're going to peek while pressing A and then S D or D. No offense, but thats how I remembered it when someone mentored me.
Could you make a video about mistakes in macroplays for beginners? I see a lot of frontline characters picking up the spike and getting killed deep in enemy side and sometimes our group on attack splits up and i'm just not sure on what the better strategies usually are. Same goes for defense when sometimes the whole team concentrates defending a single point, should you split and try to scout the other point down or what?
Thank you for the tutorial for a newbie like me! Used to play overwatch and thought a lot of the skills would transfer over but it's a very different play style to that! The peeking guide helped me get more kills in my deathmatch games and hope I continue improving from there!
I cringed when he said strafe shooting. It’s called counter strafing. which you actually don’t got to do in valorant because In valorant the second you let go of a key. Your movement stops instantly. No need to counter strafe.
TheWeebaboo no shit but it’s called counter strafing not strafe shooting. Strafe shooting would mean you would have to be strafing and shooting to begin with.
yeahh happens to me too. i think the best way to fix this is learning trigger discipline LOL, basically if u shoot too early the recoil is gonna be worse, u want ur first shot to be on the head so to learn that u have to learn to not shoot until your crosshair is perfectly on their head
this always fucks me up and whenever it happens i have to remind myself to stop immediately shooting if i see an enemy and to be more patient so i land my shots 😅
yea the script/ editing is good, I mean the sound, if you listen closely you can hear the mic pop etc. not saying he should remake it, just that that's something he could improve on
You don’t and most often you’re still silent due to the sound only triggering after a certain distance. But in the beginning you’ll probably be heard doing it due to lack of skill. My rule is, don’t expect them not to hear you, unless you walk only, an never jigglepeak when you push behind them.
This guide was INSANELY helpful, I used to feel useless to my friend group. I was bottom dragging and was just not helping but the encouraged me and kept routing me on. After learning things practicing my aim. And learning how to peek from this guide I improved and my friends noticed it. I was winning clutches like 1v3's and 1v2's. And I am so grateful for finding this. I have recommended this to my friends. Thank you!
I wouldnt recomend croutching while in a 1v1 gun fight, becaus many people don’t really hold their crosshair at head level, but torso level, when you croutch, your head is at torso level, and they will kill you headshot
Great guide, but you need to get something better to reduce your plosives in your mic. Kinda puts me off and distracts with all those hard plosives. Nevertheless, clear video, well made and nicely spoken!
I don't play a lot of shooters, but this all seemed like common sense to me and I was already doing it (minus the bunny hopping/shoulder peek). Does that mean I'm just bad? lol
Is it just me or has Valorant become even harder , I started in season 1 on a g3 rank and then I’ve only recently started playing again and find myself at bronze 3 with loads of sweaty players on the other team , what the hell happend?
Great guide bro.. very very complete and detailed guide. I'm sure a LOT of players will finally learn that you need to incorporate/use/abuse these technqs to be competitive.
U said I won't find this anywhere but all the 5 year old csgo tutorials say the same u and there is no research couse this is basic knowledge if u are over plat lol
That is not bunnyhop peek, it's jumping shoulder fake. And the being further away from walls is important as he says, but if you perform a wide swing, make sure you are actually closer to the wall so you move a further distance in your enemy player's pov. The video is good though for people who don't have a competitive fps background. (esp. CSGO)
4:25 I have decent aim but my crosshair placement most of the time isn't good which causes me to lose a gunfight. People that say the tip is given too many times: "BuT a Lot oF PrOS hAVe Bad cROsshAir PlacEMenT" Wake up people. Newb players don't have PRO aim to compensate for that.
