Dip uses ACRYLIC powder except that with dip it is essentially using nail glue to cover your nail with the acrylic. When you get “acrylic nails” the monomer is used to make the acrylic into a gel like substance while it’s being laid down and formed.
@KaitlynJohnson Yes, but the dip powder is of the same product as acrylic, and if you want something different, then it's a good idea to try gel nails.. 😉
@@KaitlynJohnsonnothing is better then the other or “healthier” it all depends on the products, removal, and maintenance for the healthiest nails i’ve had with something constantly on them is acrylic that is put on very well and then keep on doing fills and making sure they aren’t 2 long
Whenever I tell my mom about ur blogs and how inspired I get she’s always like “Kaitlyn Johnson like the dorm girl?” And I go like “ ye the one that inspires me?” and she goes like “ ohhhhhh”😂❤
Dip is acrylic powder and an adhesive. Some are gel based some are air dry. But it still acrylic just with a different application method. And the tech dipped your nails directly into the product pot. Which means your fingers touched the bacteria and germs of every single person who had their nails done with that product. Some may have had nail fungus, some pay have had poop under their nails, some may have had open wounds. And finally, the product on your nails does not change the “health” of your nails. If your nails are feeling thin, or ruined or whatever, it’s either improper application (based on the dip in the pot, I wouldn’t be surprised), improper removal (they soaked them off, so that’s good) or poor maintenance (that’s on you, not treating them properly, not using cuticle oil and not getting rebalances soon enough) nails aren’t indestructible just because you have product on them.
I like try so hart du be like you, but the problem is that I am 11 year old so😅 but I am Going to try to be like you then I am older💙 You are the best! I love your nails!✨️🩶
if your nails are damaged it is not a good idea to put product over. nails that are damaged don’t hold product well, so they will just keep falling off. if your nail tech or you incorrectly remove the nails, or if you’re too rough with your nails, that could be why they are damaged. but any product you put on your nails will never damage them, like i said it’s how they are treated and removed. dip can also be unsanitary guys, they’re dipping your finger into a container where they dipped everybody else’s fingers, and you don’t know where people put their fingers. so just so y’all know next time you get your nails done, there is no such thing as different product being “healthy for your nails”. that’s a tactic to charge you more money, or so they can do it faster
