I've been fairly inconsistent, did the routine on Sunday, did it once again just a few minutes ago, not even full 100 kills for tracer and my main. Despite that I noticed a large improvement in both Tracer and McCassidy, so thank you for making this guide!
I'm 36 years old, pretty new to the game, I would like to improve a bit just to have fun playing with my kids. My rank's low bronze so I will be posting an update in a couple of months!
Gonna start trying this. I had a stroke a couple years ago and have been working on my aim in overwatch as part of my recovery. Had to start with moira as I couldn't aim even with her at first. Now I can play Ana comfortably in gold but still wish I could do better. Downloaded aim trainer, didn't know what to do with it. This seems like a good routine I can do though
i believe in you :D Playing Ana well is already an achievement. I wish i could play a decent cassidy but i have potato aim haha. Let's see if training maps help.
I can vouch, been doing these aim courses every day first thing I log on and boy I had moments I popped off. Had some 30kill/10k dmg games for the first time now. Earlier today I got a triple headshot kill with Kiriko, all from practicing in these custom games every day. Still don't make my random teammates any better tho lol.
I get the feeling that no matter what I do, or how consistent i could possibly get, nothing will ever make my teammates any better xD The bug that keeps ranking people on Bronze 5 also doesn't fucking help -_-
I'm very new to the game and playing on console, so was looking for the aim training recommendations. Going for your routine since the previous video where you showed this. It's very helpful and you can see results, even if it's not huge - consistency is the way to get a huge impact. The only thing is that it takes really a lot of time, at least for me. It takes me around 40 minutes to complete it for 3 champs (Cassidy, Tracer and Ashe). But I'm ngl after those 40 minutes first game feels incredibly good, even though my aim still bad but sometimes I can make some crazy quickscopes, and that motivates a lot. Thank you for this training recommendations!
Hi, after using these types of maps for a week or so, I feel better with my aim, so ill keep working on it, thanks for the maps and sharing your experience and methods, it helps ! Much love from France
this worked so well with me, not only it improved my aim, it also improved my aim! im not scared to firing my shots anymore, this helped so much in so little time!! ty dude!
hey! Just watched both your videos, I came from overwatch 1 and was thinking “this is all so different.” it’s a little exhausting trying to relearn a game I used to play everyday, and was really confident only to be faced with mild confusion lol. definitely trying this out and will update when I see improvement!!
I did the Sora Aiming Routine for 1 Week on the CTO4V map, default settings (easy, no buffs). Here are the results: (Timer in top left when reached 100 kills) McRee/Cass - 751 -> 555 -> 535 -> 563 -> 513 -> 532 -> 505 -> 500 Tracer - 892 -> 800 -> 735 -> 695 -> 713 -> 662 -> 707 -> 767 Zenyatta - 618 -> 615 -> 600 -> 563 -> 620 -> 571 -> 562 -> 550 Outside of practice thoughts: McRee/Cass - Even though I improved shooting the bots, I somehow got way worse at shooting actual players in game. Maybe I have to play on the hardest strafe difficulty in training and see if it matches player movement more? Tracer - Still no idea how this characters shotgun-smg spread works tbh as you can tell by the fluctuating numbers (and the worst part is I can't find a single video that explains how her gun hitbox works). Also has to do with if Mercy heals the bot im shooting, i HAVE to chase the Mercy cause it's almost impossible to kill the target being healed, or best case spend too much time on it. The only character I'm able to kill with 1 spray (
I stopped playing Overwatch 2 for one week, then returned and did the exact same routine for 2 days. Here are the results: McRee/Cass - 533 -> 487 Tracer - 688 -> 704 Zenyatta - 592 -> 596 Personal thoughts: General training - Surprisingly, you don't lose your "training" experience as quickly as you learn it. So I guess any training is good training. - May need to try the highest difficulty training to make it resemble real game strafing more accurately, because player movement is not even comparable to the AI on default easy. McRee/Cass - I can see why this guy is played all the way to top 500. Huge dependency on good aim and if you can hit all your shots, not much can stand in your way. Tracer - It feels like I hit a cap on this pretty quick. I think to be able to see any more improvement I'd need to set the bot strafing to the highest difficulty to more accurately resemble players. Zenyatta - Feels good even though the numbers don't change much. I think this would be the same scenario as tracer, because hitting projectiles on even better strafing targets will be extremely tough, but needed to improve on.
Thank you for the help (im quite new to overwatch i used to play alot years ago but now i have been playing again) earlier i coulnt hit the broad side of a barn but now im a lot better even after 1 day of this tysm
Nice video. I use Kovaak's personally but I think I'm gonna incorporate some of these maps as a bridge between Kovaak's and Overwatch ranked. Good stuff for solo queues.
Due to my pc being unusable I moved from pc to console but naturally my aim with a controller is dogwater lol, I got slightly better a week ltr but I wish to get better. This is the perfect custom I can play to improve my aim and get used to playing higher sens slowly but surely. Thanks my dude :)
I watched a video of him posted about a year ago. I think his 7 days of training have made him improve a lot. He's really good, but from this video, he's even better.
personally, i’ve stopped using external aim trainers and used the in game ones only since the games been out and have seen a lot of results. i think it’s because it’s helping me practice directly with the hit boxes and weapons spreads
Thanks! I am going to try this since I’ve been trying to play ow2 on steam deck and cannot seem to aim well due to no aim assist. Hope this helps me get better at aiming with controller without aim assist.
is there an updated version of this code with kiriko, and soujourn? this is helping me really learn hit boxes and i'd love practice on this tiny new hit boxes.
yo man just wanna say thanks alot for this vid, been doing your routine for like 3 days but playing sojourn instead of widow for the last 100 kills, just wanted to know if theres any other ways to get better with non hit scan heros? thanks again
1.Do you use a Benq Monitor if so what are your settings 2.could you make a console overwatch 2 Cassidy guide thanks! 3.When you play controller what controller did you use I use default PS5 controller and wanna know if a kontrol freak on the right stick actually helps and which size tall or medium
1. no i dont sorry 2. i'll try to make one yeah but it won't be until at least january i think sorry 😭 i do have a controller video with a secret aiming tip coming out and the gameplay used is cassidy 3. kontrolfreek galaxy since 2017 lol
I play Hitscan in Masters and I dont really have a problem aiming, until, it comes to Widow. I know the " Charge your shots, take your time" advice applies but I cant even hit basic shots in gold lobbies. I really dont understand what it is, maybe FOV? Scope sens? Its just eludes me. Any thoughts? I have an account in gold where I learn Widow only so I am trying to get practice. (PC)
if you want additional help with aiming you could also find a character specific crosshair to help you with the exact measurements of where your shots would end up when you are aiming so its not just 1 dot or 1 specific spot
Hey I'm really struggling with finding settings for aim assist and sensitivity to help me aim with genji on controller. How should I adjust my settings? Would you recommend the old genji guide you made 2 years ago?
Hi man! Do you put CT04V on Hard? I have 43% winrate for all the 3 roles and I want up my game. I used to be GM on all of them but I'm washed up so I need to train xD
@@Soradot Follow up question... Can you over train your aim? During the day I can only play a couple of games while my kid is sleeping and then I start playing later at night. But sometimes I can take 15-30min here and there on non-commital games (Something that either saves or pauses). I would use that time to train my aim but I don't know if you can basically train too much and negatively affect you lol
i usually do it (with widow) until i can get a couple quintuple kills - so basically just until it felt nice haha but since i don’t use it every day i didn’t include it as part of the routine fully
I hope to get a new pc soon and a new monitor. I will try this out i want to change type of aim. Im going for wrist aim since i play genji a lot and with arm aim im pretty much dead after 10 games and im changing sens aswell so this will be 100% helpfull. Cant wait to try this.
(quick update) Im actually getting worse, I had control of the aim/mouse for 6 days and i can't do it anymore. i dont get it. i feel like my aim is more slippery and i can't track the targets.
