@@OfficiallyMaidenless the plugin is literally a compressor and saturator put together. Last I checked, Phonk not only compression and saturation, but used extreme amounts of both.
@@hippyhobo6285 Maybe they should elaborate a bit more on what this is, because it's not being used in the "phonk" style as in genre and I for one thought this was a synth not just compression/saturator
@@OfficiallyMaidenless well you can see the sampled loop in the playlist and you can see what the plugin is doing with the curves as well as hear the actual changes to the sound.
U could prob get about the same result using a saturator and OTT, I dont use FL so Im not sure which free saturation plugins it got. But Abletons saturator together with OTT makes this obsolete IMO
@xDanishGamerz you can realistically make this argument for everything in music tho. Why have Saturn when Saturator and EQ and compression can do the same? Partially slight differences in sound and also just convenience.
@@illford I disagree, Serum has such an amazing workflow. This plugin got 2 knobs, to recreate this, u only need to change two different knobs from two differents effects.
@@xDanishGamerzeh, I suppose. Some of serum’s effects sound cheap to my ear at least. I am friends with some artists who won’t touch some of serum’s FX like delay and reverb or even the OTT built into serum
@@don_huzanthats his preference. Meanwhile artists out there who makes hits are using the effects in the plugin. So who cares? Not sure what it point is
i was expecting this to be some fl studio soundcloud rapper shit phonk song but no it's fucking energy drink with some cool ass plugin that i might get if there's a .so download
