for anyone that is having issues with it not coming up on the home screen, i found out i downloaded an update file for ~25mb instead of the actual app for ~64mb i used hshop and you have to hit the part that says content->games not content->updates

Brother your a life saver I didn’t realize pokemon home was out or that Pokémon bank was a thing playing all these new age games I already had my 3rd modded from 3 years ago this is a golden video content and timing wise
I was able to download and get it to work and transfer Pokémon. But it’s says Free Trial Period for 28 days!? at the home menu. Does this mean I won’t be able to use it after the time is up?
I'm pretty sure it should. I haven't tried to initiate a home transfer yet, but I don't think anything I did via the mod would break that feature. If anyone knows for sure, let me know!
So for my situation, I got Bank downloaded before the eShop closed, but I didn’t pay for the subscription and thus couldn’t download the transporter app. Now that bank is free and I could download transporter, the eshop obviously doesn’t work. Would this method work to get transporter as well?
It doesn't work for me, it says "error 022-1021: No Nintendo ID Network linked to this console" (I have an Nintendo ID tho). But never used Pokemon Bank before, and I modded my 3DS that I bought one week ago. Everthing works fine except for this app
Hello everyone 😊 I have a question and I hope someone can help me :( I want to move my pokemon from White 2 to Pokemon Bank but apparently you need the pokemover. But I cannot find in Pokemon Bank :( Each time I insert my Game into the 3DS and open Bank I always get the same message : Compatible games not found ( Roughly translated, English is not my mother tongue). Can someone help me please? 😢
You'll need the poke transporter app, or whatever it's called in your region. And now that the eShop is down you'd need to mod your 3ds and install it yourself. Hope this helps!
I had this issue and I solved it by going back to fbi and downloading the other part of Pokémon bank that is listed as an update. Once I had both it worked. Having issues with Pokémon transporter though, it recognizes my games but gives me error code 022-0591 when trying to connect to the internet. Any ideas??
hey so I just tried this now and the app did not appear on my home screen. I used FBI as instructed and found the QR code and downloaded it and it even said it was a success but it has not appeared. Did I do something wrong?
I got the bank early, but I thought that was it. Didn't even bother to open it. So I didn't get the transporter. T-T I guess I have no choice but to go yahah mode.
So you’re telling me I should’ve just watched the whole video and not wasted my time modding my 3DSXL and breaking most the screws and both my ribbon cables in the process (it’s a long story, lol), just to remember last second that my camera doesn’t work 💀 Oh well. I'd imagine it would have a lot to do with the speed, brand, capacity, and how full your SD card is. If you've got a cheap slow small one that's almost full, that's probably worst case scenario. Whereas if you've got a SanDisk or other reputable brand, it's fairly large, and doesn't have much on it, I can vouch for quick startup times. Hope this helps!

I was able to download the Pokémon bank but I’m getting error code 005-5958 I’m wondering if this is because I am using a new Nintendo ID. Any help would be appreciated. NB I am using the latest version of pokebank and my device is on the latest update.

Yes, you will need to log in with a Nintendo account. And if you want to transfer Pokemon to Home on the switch, it'll need to be the same account that's on the switch.
So I did everything. Got my 3DS modded and then followed the video to scan the QR code. Pokemon Bank installed. Where is it? I don't see it on my home screen at all. A little confused..
Wait so i downloaded FBI, and bank will i be able to connect and transfer the pokemons from my game to home? I need to do it with my account obviously but will i get banned when i connect to the internet because the 3ds is moded?
You shouldn't get banned unless you're creating illegal pokemon to send to home. And even then, I'm not sure how they do it now, but I think in the past they just delete the illegal pokemon and call it a day rather than issuing bans. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong everybody else!
It is not working for me :/ I have an error code and I'm searching for solutions all around the web but I can't find any solutions :( FBI and hShop can't download it, I try pokemon home, pokemon bank or Poke Transporter and none of them can't be downloaded by FBI or hShop. Even if I download the cia file on my pc and then I transfer it to the 3ds by FTPD it doesn't work... Quite sad and annoying... I have the feeling that I tried all of what is possible.
I dont know what happens it downloads but it doesnt appear on my home screen. I checked on the installed programs on the settings and apparently is on the console but i cant see it.
Please someone help! I modded my 3DS and now when I open Pokemon Blue in the virtual console I get the "save data is corrupted and will be initialized" message. How can I fix this? Also I successfully downloaded Pokemon Bank, but it won't detect my White cartridge and let me transfer. It says it can't find any any save information compatible with Bank. Any help would be much appreciated!
Bank only works with the 3ds games, for black/white, you need poketransporter I believe. Additionally, I don't think there's any reasonable way to fix a corrupt save.
If it says you need to update, just update! Since they're done updating the 3ds, all versions of system software should be safe to be on. Hope this helps!
I don't see why it wouldn't. As long as your device is up to date and you're signed in with a valid account, all should be well for the whole lifespan of bank.
Seriously? Did you go through all the trouble already? I literally have my flashcart ordered and on the way so that I can homebrew my 3DS XL and try this. But thats the version i'm on, so I'm fucked? Not even with hShop?
all this stress over to be able to expierence the 3ds with its exxclusive pokemon games, might aswell just wait for remake since pokemon home is a good solution to move pokemons after you get bored of a game , brilliant diamond, lets go pikachu,shield all great linear games till you play arceus or SV but SV IS DEM good to explore
It should. It'll do everything bank can do as long as your 3ds is on the latest firmware and able to do online things. Mine can't connect to the switch because I modded a Japanese 2ds XL to be English, and it just has a lot of problems as far as online.
i also have a 2ds and this didn't work for me, i used another method: found online and placed on my card the cia files for the pokemon bank and then open fbi, found the file and clicked install.
@@GamenessViejo Probably because Nintendo was not making enough money off of the shop to justify updating the old hardware and software running the eshop.
