I've been really depressed this year and haven't been planning/crafty. But after a quick beach trip with my hubby this past weekend it snapped my mood and I've been feeling better. I hadn't watched your videos since last year and this was the first I saw this year and I'm glad I caught it! Congrats on all the life changes! I've moved a LOT and even though moving is a hassle and nerve-wracking, it's always also refreshing and gives new motivation and inspiration. I also have a light pad like that and it's so fun and useful. Super inexpensive too if anyone is looking to get one.

Amanda, Thank you for sharing. Yes coming west from east is definitely... illuminating. Be kind to yourself, change takes time and baby steps are very often a wise way to travel. You have a full life ahead of you, no mistakes- only lessons. I lived in Vancouver during the 80s and moved back to Ontario for about 16 or so years. When I flew back to BC to visit my Mom, just after the plane set down in YVR, I stood in the isle with tears rolling down my cheeks. The man sitting beside me reached out and asked if I was ok, I replied "yes, I had just forgotten how much I missed the mountains." That was in September 2001 - and am still here. Think of auto-pilot- on-course off-course recalculation and on-course again such is the way of most progress in life. You are doing just fine! Enjoy. Best Regards

July 14 is my daughter's birthday, I designed her first August-bullet-journal followed your July's planning video(because we here are so hot and the summer would just last to the end of November), she was surprised and love it very much. And we also talked about why not to plan our September's with snowing looking, and save the summer's factors to our winter(the weather would be depressed-like in our winter and the temperature sometimes fall to 2 centigrade while without heating system)

Hey Amanda.. I just wanted to thank you for showing me the bright side of the life.. I was just getting depressed and losing myself day by day due to lockdown and all.. But you showed me a path to keep myself happy.. Pens and paper were are and will always be my partner.. I'm glad you can get dose #2 of your vaccine in Toronto. It's super important. I'm glad you've gotten the time in Vancouver. I haven't been there in close to 20 years, but I grew up visiting there on occasion on trips to my grandparents' cabin across the mainland from Campbell River. (It was accessible only by floatplane or water taxi.) The Pacific Northwest is an amazing place, and I've ended up living an hour north of Seattle.

I moved 6 months ago. Had no idea that I would want to move, but I moved for love. :D Point is, it has really given me a new lease on life. A change of scenery and living somewhere different than I've ever lived before. I miss back "home" but I really don't ever see myself leaving. If you're young, and nothing is tying you down, move!
