Don't see what incentive or point Seasons 2.0 brings to players who are and have been playing on maxed out builds for the past 3 years. Seasonal wipes is really what this game needed to keep each season feeling fresh and mitigating the gear ceiling. I am not surprised that they looked disappointed when addressing seasonal wipes. They had a vision for wipes and should have stuck with it instead of caving. I think it's a damn shame they cancelled wipes. It seems like they put a lot of thought, effort and time into re-working seasons around the idea of wipes.
GCRock I wanted to agree with u I was excited for the seasonal characters 2.0 that can bring new life & enjoyment to the division 2 by getting us ready for when the seasonal characters will be in division 3.
But what I don't get is how and why will these seasonal journey and priority objectives be worth doing if a player is already maxed out on their character? Seems pointless to do objectives where the rewards given have no use to fully maxed out builds.
There are great changes to this, but I was expecting the specialisation changes unless its in another video. I have a feeling they may have scrapped it and will be put on Div 3 instead.
I’m just happy I quit the game when I did. And all these changes are just a test for Div 3, so looks like I won’t be playing that either. One thing I’m wondering tho is what do these ults and modifiers do in pvp
Wipes would've brought in 10-20x the player base. Really dumb of the devs to not move forward with wipes. Don't see how Seasons 2.0 will keep those who already have maxed out builds coming back each seasons. What in the hell do players with maxed out builds need to complete the seasonal journey for the rewards when they are already maxed out on everything the game has to offer?
